Our entire afternoon, blew right by on our search. We didn't find any Lares and we had no leads. By the time, we made it back to Los Angelos, I decided that our navigation system wasn't all that well. I stuck close by Sean, while Athos decided to take the lead. He seemed to know where he was going. But I still didn't feel all to well about that.

After sunset, we finally made it to a recording studio. "Doa?" I wondered looking up at the building sign. Sean, seemed uneased as well, but the thing that freaked me out the most was Athos' demenor. It didn't change at all! It was like none of these things fazed him, To think a demigod with no clue to his godly parent wouldn't have a bit of a creepy veiw of things.

"What is this place?" I asked, as we entered. Inside, everyone looked like ghosts. Well not exactly everyone. There was this one man, in a ballroom tux. He also had spiked up grey-black hair and a pair of sunglasses on. His smile was brilliant and he seemed to smell of strawberries and vanilla.

"Welcome to D.O.A. Recording studios. How may I help you?" The man asked. Athos, walked up to the man and whispered something in his ear. After what looked like a few good hearted jokes, the man ushered for us to follow him.

"I'm sorry but the elevator's broken. But I could give another meathod of making it to the Underworld. Athoos, use your earth powers to conjure up the Doors of Orpheus. They would guide you to the fields of paradise. Aftet that, your on your own." The man held a deep edged smile, almost like he had enjoyed posing as a real life Joker.

"Thanks." Athos murmured. Turning around, he headed toward the door.

When we finally made it back outside, I flipped out. "Who was that?! Why are you being so secrative?! Athos! Explain right now!" Tentitively, I waited for him to turn around as slash my throat open. Athos had been acting strange ever since Malibu. But now, it was beginning to get to me.

"I don't know why, I know all this stuff, but all I know is that my powers are prudent and powerful. They aren't like the children of Zeus or Poseidon, that I could do what ever I want without any repercussions. But, I know it's taxing in some way. I just don't see it yet."

Nodding, Sean placed his hand on Athos' shoulder. "No worries." He said. "We're in this together. We'll find out who your godly parent is by the time, we return to camp."

Our travels took us to Mount Diablo. By the time, we had made it there, I noticed the obvious, we were standing at a ruined mountain. "What now?" I asked.

"The Doors of Orpheus, they are to the east. Sadly, we can't travel east."Athos replied. "This would have to do." Taking a seat, he began a meditation process. Athos was sure enough about everything he was doing. It made me feel like he knew something. He knew about his godly parent. He probably knew that it was him. But maybe Athos didn't want to be his child.

When he finally opened his eyes, the entire sky was completely dark. Gales of harsh winds blew at me, as I shivered. Rising to his feet, a rock formation rose from the earth. Gazing at it, Sean smiled.

"You seriously are a surprising demigod." Sean laughed.
I smiled. "It's scary how he knows of ways to get his results."

In an explosion of darkness a gateway opened up to a death infested place. "Voala!" He said turning toward us. "I honestly don't understand how it works either. But I can't complain." Walking into the shimmering light, I smiled as I entered into the Underworld.

The fields of paradise were marvalous. It was achers of freshly cut springfield green grass. The arches were fabulous and the forums were even more outstanding than the ones in New Rome. We walked about four miles, before the scenery died out into a more natural look for the Underworld.

The place didn't look at all like I expected it. I expected mazes and tunnels and long walkways. But instead it was just a long piece of land that was located directly under the earth. It was irronic how scientist couldn't find the underworld on their way to the core of the earth.

Walking through the fields of Asphodel, I felt strange. It wasn't a queezy type of feeling but like something was about to happen. Slowly, my eyes wideened, as I knocked the other down. "Lookout!" I cried, before pushing down for cover.

In an arch of lightning, a man appeared. The man had on a Dallas Cowboys jersey, a pair of western jeans and classic cleets. Smiling, he gazed at me with his electric blue eyes. He had blonde hair, but besides that, he looked like the spitting image of Jupiter himself. He held the reckless attiude of a Greek though, but aside from that, he smelled Roman.

"Jasmine. It's great to finally meet you in person." He smiled. "How you've been?"
