Malibu.
Thats, where we stopped first. It wasn't half bad considering the fact that we made it there in less than two hours. I gazed at Sean, as we stood there plotting out a simple manner in which we would make it into the underworld. After a few minutes, he placed his hand over my shoulder.

Suddly, my heart made a turbo jump, as I realized he was touching me. Sean had been my friend for years, but we never really got a chance to express our feelings, even when we would hangout. We would never tell each other that we liked each other. But now, in the open he was here showing affection.

Slowly, I smiled. It was small and secrative, but Athos could see, which was good. Calmly, Athos cleared his throat causing Sean to let go of my shoulder. A bit imbarrassed he stepped back, nodding.

"In the myths can you tell me of ways that people made it into the Underworld, without having to die?" Athos asked. Sean frowned a bit uncertain. He usually knew things that had to do with heroes, but he seemed uneased with this one.

"Hermes made it into the underworld with his shoes. Hercules did with the aid of the gods, and from what I remember Orpheus did it by creating a new opening." I replied. "If I remember the Ancient lands correctly, the enterance to the Underworld would be around here somewhere. It's close yet far."

"Los Angelos." Athos answered. "The city of lost angels." He smiled.
"Wasn't their a book on that?" Sean wondered. "The mortal instruments?"
I laughed. Sean obviously had mistaken The City of Fallen Angels with The Mortal Instruments book series. "I think your wrong Sean." I smiled.

Sean shrugged. He wasn't one to argue over something so childish, besides it was just a question. But Athos on the other hand held a serious look in his eyes, almost like he was planning out something. Probably the quickest route to LA.

"It would take thirty minutes, but I think, I could try." He murmured. I gazed at him, unaware of what he was talking about. "Can you guys, get close? Because I'm not sure I can do this more than once."

"Do what?" I asked. Slowly, Athos spread his arms and legs, forcing the grounds before us to split. In a wave of his hands, the entire sky turned black until a net of darkness surrounded us. Vanishing, we walked into darkness.

I couldn't see anything. I couldn't hear anything. And most of all I felt pain. Pain like no other. My arms felt like they were on fire, I felt the dry feeling of thirst and the gut renching sense of starvation. I felt like I was going to die, until a light opened up and I fell into Athos' shoulder. Gazing at Sean, I realized he was nauseus. But the thing that struck me the most was that Athos was perfectly fine.

He wasn't sweating, he wasn't weak or dizzy like I was. And he felt determined. Helping me up to my feet, he smiled. "As I thought, that affects others but not me." He murmured.

Pulling out a container of water, he gave me a sip. Taking in the water, I realized it wasn't exactly water. It tasted different. More like nectar. "What is this?" I asked.

"Nectar. The drink of the gods." He said. "Drink up, and make sure your breath, it helps the healing process." After a few minutes, I was capable of standing and felt like normal.

"Where did you get that?" Sean asked.
"I was at the store, now we need to find a place that has the most Lares around."Athos smiled.

"Alright," I stretched. "Let's try the Hollywood sign." I recomended.

With a slow march, we all made our way towards Hollywood in order to find an enterance to the underworld.
