Percy Jackson and the Creator: The Creator's Trick
Chapter 6: Olympus
Percy appeared right outside of the throne room. He pulled his hood back up and stepped through the doors. He found the Olympians all standing in front of their thrones arguing. Percy walked to the middle of the throne room by the hearth. They still hadn't noticed him. Percy sighed and pulled his sword out and tapped the floor with the tip. Instantly all the lights in the room dimmed throwing the gods into silence. They all turned and looked at Percy. His sword was glowing bright. Zeus stepped forward, "I presume you are Chaos' agent." Percy nodded, "Yes, I am Midnight. Chaos's first in command." Zeus lifted his master bolt, "Well Midnight, I do not take kind to insolent upstarts who think they can storm into my-" He was cut off by Percy raising his hand. Percy was using a power Chaos had given him. The power gave him the ability to silence any god, creature, or demigod. "You will find Lord Zeus that I am more powerful then you think." Percy pointed his finger at Zeus causing him to sweat. "I am not insolent, and I'm not an upstart." Suddenly the room got brighter. "Now Midnight that is no way to treat the gods. You must show your manners." Chaos said stepping onto the floor. "Zeus, I apologize for the way Midnight has treated you. He will not do it again." Artemis stood from her shimmering throne, "I fear you are not telling the truth about Midnight Lord Chaos. Why don't you let him reveal his true identity?" Percy's breath caught. Artemis could see right through his disguise. All the gods leaned forward. Percy glanced at Poseidon. He seemed very interested. Chaos turned to Percy, "Very well, show them." Percy hesitated. This wasn't how he wanted to do it. "Come Perseus Jackson, show us." Artemis said. "Percy?" Poseidon asked. Percy pulled his hood down and smiled sheepishly. Percy saw his dad's eyes fill with tears. Zeus stood, "Explain this Chaos." Chaos chuckled, "Well you might want to take a seat."
