Annabeth sat in her bunk. She had discussed battle strategy with Chaos for hours until he was summoned to Olympus. She knew this war meant a lot, but there was something about Chaos's general Midnight that confused her. There was something about him she just felt like she knew him. Suddenly a red light filled the room. Annabeth stood and grabbed her dagger from under her pillow. A man was standing in the middle of the room. "Who are you?" Annabeth asked. "My dear Annabeth, you don't recognize me? Well I can't blame you. Perseus didn't recognize me either." Annabeth looked at him, "Percy has been missing for over a year. Stop playing games." The man laughed, "You mean he hasn't revealed himself to you? Oh I'm not the one playing games, your boyfriend Perseus is playing the games, or should I say Midnight is playing games." Annabeth processed this, "You mean Midnight is Percy? Of course, that's why his voice sounded like Percy's because it is Percy." Annabeth turned on the man. "But who are you?" The man moved with blinding speed and grabbed Annabeth's arm. He looked deep into her eyes. Annabeth felt a rage overcome her body and then warmth. The man spoke, "I am Chaos, your new master. And I order you to kill Perseus Jackson, your boyfriend."
