Percy flashed back to Camp Half-Blood excited. The gods were in full support of Chaos's plan and they would do anything to help. Percy felt good to know his dad still loved him and that he forgave him. Now Percy had to tell the whole camp Chaos's plan. Chaos had already told Chiron to gather the campers in the pavilion so Percy could announce it to everyone. Percy made his way from Half-Blood hill to the pavilion. All the campers had gathered. Percy flashed straight in front of everyone causing Chiron to step back. "Ah Midnight, we've been waiting for you." "Thank you Chiron." Percy said. All the campers were staring at him. He recognized many of them. "I know you must all be confused about who I am. I'm Midnight, one of Chaos's generals for the war against Tartarus." The whole pavilion broke into whispers. "Now I know what you think about that. Tartarus isn't just a pit. He has a solid form, and he's been at work. He's mustered an army and he's planning to take down us, the world, and the gods. He'll start with Camp Jupiter then march on us. I'll help defend bo-" Percy paused. Something was wrong. He could sense something from Tartarus. A sound pierced his ears. A whistling sound. Percy saw something red streak from the corner at him. Percy leaned forward as it caught the edge of his hood. He heard a rip. The crowd of campers gasped. Percy felt for his hood. It wasn't there, it was on the ground. Percy cursed. "Percy?" Chiron asked. Percy nodded, "I'll explain later, we need to find out who did that!" He searched the crowd until he found a red headed girl slipping out the back of the pavilion. "Stop her!" Percy yelled hopping up onto the Athena table. He hopped from table to table as a group of campers scrambled out after the girl. Percy reached the last table and jumped to the floor. He saw that the campers had her surrounded. Percy sprinted to them. She had her back turned to Percy. "Turn around!" Percy growled. She turned slowly and the girl Percy found almost made him drop to his knees. It was Annabeth, her blonde hair was turning a dark red and her grey eyes had a tint of red now. "A-Annabeth?" Percy gasped. She sneered at him, "Hey Sea-Weed Brain, miss me?" "Annabeth what is this? You’re an agent of Tartarus? How did this happen?" Percy asked. She grinned at him, "Tartarus showed me the truth about you. He showed that you hated me. So I joined him, I always know a winning side." She closed her eyes and she disappeared in a column of fire.
