The Demigod Games

Sienna:
I am walking through the forest when I first see him. A man with a black beard and black hair is standing there. I draw my sword.
"Who are you?" I ask.
"It is a shame you can't even recognize your own father." he says. My eyes widened.
"Zeus?" I ask. He nods. "What do you want?"
"I have come here to tell you. I have chosen you as my female tribute. Your brother Jason is the male tribute." he says.
I stare at him. "For what?" I ask.
"The other gods have insulted me. They say my children are not worthy. We are proving you are. All the gods will choose 2 of their children. One will be male and another female. We will put you in an arena, where you will fight to the death." he says.
I stare at him in horror. "Are you kidding me!?" I screech. "I am not going into that arena!"
Zeus's eyes flash dangerously. "You will do as I say. Be prepared. It starts in a week. Your brother is already aware." he says. Before I can protest, he vanishes in a flash of light. I stare at the ground in shock. I turn and run back towards my cabin.
The first thing I see when I step inside is my brother. I pin him against the wall.
"Why didn't you tell me!?" I yell.
"Father told me not to. And I knew this would be your reaction." he says.
"We can't go into that arena!" I exclaim.
'It is not up to us. The other gods insulted our father, We have to prove them wrong." he says.
I stare at him in shock. "What is wrong with you? I refuse to kill innocent people. What happens if Aphrodite chooses Piper as her tribute? Are you going to kill Piper?" i ask.
Jason's jaw clenches. "I broke up with her this morning." he says. He pushes me off. "Don't speak of it." he runs out the door.
I grit my teeth.I walk out the door. I head over to the arena, where I know my boyfriend Jake is going to be. When I walk in, I see Jake training with my friend Logan. They both stop when they see me. Jake notices my expression and grimaces.
"Your dad told you right?" Jake asks.
I nod. "You knew didn't you?" I ask.
He nods. "I was chosen as a tribute. Logan was too." he says, motioning to Logan.
I groan. "We are so screwed." I say.
"I don't know all of the tributes yet, but I can assure you, they are going to be the best of each cabin." Logan says.
Logan's girlfriend Sam walks in. She is safe because she is the daughter of Enyo. Only the children of the 12 Olympian gods are chosen.
"Have you heard the news?" she asks me.
"Am I the only one who didn't know?" I ask.
"Pretty much. Everyone knew you were going to get majorly peeved off." she says.
Jake puts his arm around me and presses his lips to mine.
'They didn't say we couldn't have alliances." Jake says.
"Very true." Logan said.
"How about you 3? Maybe you guys can choose a few others." Sam says.
I nod. I am not happy about the idea of getting stuffed into and arena and fighting to the death, but right now, I was in it to win it.
