The Demigod Games

Jake:
I opened my eyes slightly. I realized I had probably fallen asleep while watching TV with Sienna. I then see her curled up against me sleeping. I realized I had my arm wrapped around her. I then notice a very pale weak pink aura surrounding her. She shifts slightly then opens her eyes.
She looks at me and then raises her eyebrow. "You have a pink aura around you. Its kinda pale and weak." She says.
"You do too." I say
"It must be Aphrodite." Sienna murmurs.
I look at her questioningly. "What do you mean?" I ask, even though I'm pretty sure I know what she is talking about.
She then tells me about the dream she had. I nod.
"I had the same exact one." I say. The only difference that I don't mention is that Aphrodite looked different than when she appeared for Sienna. Aphrodite actually looked a lot like Sienna did last night at the interview.
"Well, now we have a goddess's gift. That is a good thing right?" I ask.
Sienna nods. "But what about the other tributes? Won't they notice the pink glow around us?" She asks.
Quinn then comes out of his room. "Hey kids." He says heading to the fridge.
"Hey Quinn, do you notice anything odd about Jake?" Sienna asks innocently. Quinn turns and studies me. He shakes his head.
"No. Why?" He asks, raising his eyebrows.
"I just think he looks different." Sienna says.
Quinn shrugs and heads back to his room.
"So I guess no one else can see." I say.
Sienna nods. "Well, we need to get ready." She says.
I nod. "I don't want to get up though." I groan. Sienna rolls her eyes and lays her head on my chest. I wrap my arms around her.
She looks up and I kiss her. I still have my lips on hers when we hear a throat being cleared. We break apart and we see Jason standing there awkwardly. Sienna glares at him. He averts his eyes and looks down.
"Um, you should get ready. Training starts in an hour." He says.
Sienna rolls off the couch and pulls me up. Jason goes back into his room and I go back down to my apartment.
When I enter, Aylin runs to me.
"Where were you?" She demands.
"I spent the night at Sienna's place." I say brushing past her. Aylin grits her teeth but says nothing.
I take a shower and change into a pair of clothes. I grab a bagel and go down to the training arena. Sienna is already there.
"Hey you want to try swimming?" I ask.
"Sure." She says.
Sienna goes to change into her swimsuit and I change too. She comes out in a blue one piece, the same shade she wore yesterday and I can't help but stare. She looks at me staring and smirks.
I dive into the pool and I laugh as she cannonballs in after me. We're the only ones in the pool, and we spend most of our time racing and swimming laps. After we're done, we spend the rest of the time at the other stations. Once 4 comes, we head back to our apartments. I shower again and change into sweats. I then head back to Sienna's apartment. Sienna is in the shower, so I wait in her room. I lay on her bed and I turn on the tv. Sienna then steps out of the bathroom with a towel on.
She sees me and she screams, almost dropping the towel.
"Oh my gods Jake, you scared the crap out of me!" She yells.
I start laughing uncontrollably.
"Jerk." She mumbles. She grabs her stuff and goes into the bathroom to change.
When she comes out, she climbs in next to me.
Then she flicks her hand, using her powers to control the wind to make a plate of brownies float to us. She then picks one off the plate and bites it.
"Your laziness never ceases to amaze me." I say affectionately.
She sticks out her tongue and takes another bite.
Quinn knocks on the door. "You kids gonna eat dinner?" He asks.
"No, I brought in brownies. Jake is staying the night again." She calls.
"Suit yourself." Quinn says. We hear him walk away.
I grab a brownie and stuff it in my mouth. We watch TV until 10. Sienna then turns it off.
"I'm tired." She says. "Are you going to sleep on the couch?" She asks motioning to the couch in her room.
I give her a look. "Can't I sleep on your bed with you?" I ask.
Sienna averts her eyes. "Sure. But you have to behave" she says raising her eyebrow.
She startles a laugh out of me. "What ever you say princess." I smile as she rolls her eyes.
I fluff my pillow and lay down. Sienna curls up next to me and I wrap my arms around her. Then a thought comes to my head.
"What happens if us and the rest of our allies are the only ones alive? Are we going to have to kill them?" I ask.
Sienna looks at me. "I hadn't thought about that." She admits. "I guess we'll just see when we get to that point."
I nod slowly. "Sienna, I'm afraid." I say. "I don't want to lose you."
Sienna looks at me sadly. "Same here." She murmurs.
She softly presses her lips to mine. The kiss grows hungrier. We break apart and stare at each other for a second, and then I kiss her again. I run my hand through her hair and kiss my way down her neck. She moans slightly. I place my hands on her lower back and kiss her fiercely. I slip off my t-shirt and her hands trace the muscles of my chest. They feel warm against my skin. We hear a knock at the door and we instantly break apart. I'm breathing harshly and Sienna is too.
"Kids, I am going to bed. Wake me if you need anything." We hear Quinn call.
"Thanks Quinn." Sienna calls back. I slip my shirt back on. "So much for behaving." She huffs disapprovingly.
"Don't tell me you didn't enjoy it." I whisper winking. She smiles, burying her face into my arm and I proceed to hug her close.
"I love you." I whisper. "Never forget that."
"I love you too." She says placing a kiss on my cheek. She then closes her eyes and falls asleep.
