The Demigod Games

I open the door to the apartment with Jake right behind me. I see wind spirits setting the table for dinner.
"Hey, do you think I can stay for dinner?" Jake asks.
"I would love you too. Let me ask Quinn." I say
"No need. Jake can stay." Quinn calls out, coming out from his bedroom.
"Thank you. Aylin was annoying as fuck last night at dinner. She tried to feed me. And while I was trying to watch tv, she was trying to sit in my lap. I keep expecting to find her in my room when if I woke up in the middle of the night. Gods, I already asked for a new mentor, but they won't give me one. They keep saying that Aylin is perfectly fine." Jake says.
We all sit down to eat. Jake is on my right and Quinn is on my left. I'm so hungry, I scarf down my food. Again, they had all my favorites. After I finish dessert, I excuse myself.
I get up and decide to change into my sleeping clothes before I sit down to watch tv. I change and scrub off the make up and let my hair down. It is still in curls and a decide to leave it that way.
When I walk back out, I notice that Jason has let Jake borrow some sweats, and Jake is lounging on the couch flipping through channels. I sit down besides him and curl up next to him. I rest my head on his shoulder. We watch tv, and I start to feel drowsy. After while, I fall asleep.
I have the weirdest dream.
I am standing in the middle of an abandoned mall.
"Sweetie, I am over here!" I hear a female voice say.
I pain around and I see the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. The strangest thing is, her hair and eye color keeps changing. She seems to grow more and more beautiful with each passing second.
I instantly recognize her. "Aphrodite?" I ask
"Yes love, its me." She says flashing a brilliant smile.
"My, I saw you earlier at the interview. You were so gorgeous, even I was a bit jealous." Aphrodite laughs.
"Well, I just wanted to let you know that I am rooting for you." She says winking at me.
I look at her incredulously. I open my mouth to speak, but she cuts me off before I can say anything.
"I know what you are going to say. 'Why root for me if you need to root for your children?'. Well sweetie, the answer is simple. You still have your soul mate. You two make such a lovely couple. I did good in pairing you up. Marco already lost his when you went on that quest." Aphrodite admits.
"For my dear Piper, well, your brother seems to have convinced himself that he no longer loves her. And I don't see that changing anytime soon. Jake loves you more than anything else. Even Percy and Annabeth don't have that connection. As the goddess of love, I can tell these things." Aphrodite says.
"Thank you but you can't help us. No one can." I say.
Aphrodite frowns. "Nonsense! I give you my blessing. This will bump up your chances for survival in that arena. It does not guarantee anything, but you will have a better chance." She says. I start to glow pink.
"Now, I will let you sleep. Remember, love can best anything!" Aphrodite winks. Then before I can thank her, everything fades to black.
