The Demigod Games

Spencer:
The sun was barely up but I was already working. Daria was by my side, being useless as always.
"Hand me some wire." I instruct.
Daria rolls her eyes and takes a roll of wire out of my bag. "Maybe you could say 'please' for once. I don't think it would kill you."
I grit my teeth. "This is gonna save our lives. You should be thanking me." I say. I quickly set the wire and stand up.
"Done." I announce.
"Well, I guessed." Daria grumbled. "What is it? The 5th trap you set? Are you sure they even work?"
"The 6th. And of course they work. I made them." I correct. "I'm kinda hungry. Can you poof up some grapes?"
Daria gave me a look.
"Please?" I add grudgingly.
"Sure." She says smirking. She sets her hand on the floor, and after a few minutes, a little sprout of a grape plant shoots up. After a few more minutes, it is fully grown.
"Can't you try to grow another type of fruit?" I ask.
"My dad can. I'm just limited to grapes." Daria retorts. "And if you don't like the grapes, find another partner. I can have these grapes all to myself."
"Well, trust me, I would if I could. But there are only 10 tributes left, including us. I'm guessing everyone else is partnered up." I growl back.
"Well at least I provide food. You were too stupid to get a bag with food in it." Daria sneers.
"Well at least I got a bag. And it happens to have supplies that will get us out of here alive." I shoot back.
"Shut up! I could kill you right now!" Daria yells.
"Do you want to get us caught? Lower your voice." I hiss.
Daria glares and sits down crossing her arms. "Who do you think is still alive?" She asks quietly.
"I'm guessing that Percy and Annabeth are, probably Sienna and Jake, and maybe Jason and Piper. I'm not sure about the other two. Probably Miranda and either Marco or Caine."
Daria nods. "How many days have we been in here?"
"I think this is our third or fourth day." I reply.
She nods.
"We don't stand a chance do we?" I ask.
"Probably not. The traps are only going to do so much. We have no weapons either." She whispers.
"What of we try teaming up with another group. We kill them in their sleep, get their weapons and look for the other partners. With weapons, we stand more of a chance. We could take some people out." I suggest.
Daria snorts. "You wish. Who is going to team up with us? Miranda is too crazy, she would kill us right away. Annabeth and Percy are never going to let us near them, Sienna is way too protective of Jake, and Jason is an arrogant asshole who I don't want to be near. So, I hate to break it to you, but that isn't going happen." She says.
"Well sorry for trying to be optimistic. Anyway, we should get moving. I want to set a few more traps." I grumble.
Daria rolls her eyes but stands up. She gets on my nerves so much. She reminds me way too much of her dad, Mr. D, with her superior attitude. But she was my best chance at survival.
I sigh. "Come on."
I stood up and off we went in search of another spot.
