"You're hopeless seaweed brain!" A girl called out.
Opening, my eyes, I saw a blonde girl, with the most intense grey eyes and a perminent scowl on her face. When my vision cleared, I realized that Annabeth had been standing right in front of me.

"Annabeth!" I murmured in awe. Getting up, I smiled and hugged her tightly. She looked the same as she did three years ago. Not even a minor change. Finally happy to see het, I gracefully grabbed her face. With a tender kiss, I felt complete.

Pulling a part, my heart sank. "That was . . ."
"Amazing?" Annabeth offered.
"I was gonna say perfect." I smiled. "But when did you?"
"Die?" She replied. "Three years ago. I couldn't find a way to contact Nico, via his Necromancy, so I just hoped you'd move on at least until-"

I narrowed my eyes at the grounds. "It was that summer you found something interesting in London right?"
"Yea, I ran into some trouble with a few dozen monsters and ended up dying." She replied.

"So how is it here?" I asked. "How does Elysium and the Underworld work, have you figured it out?"
Annabwth shooked her head dejectedly. "I'm still not sure, days can be years on the outside. Where as a minute in here could be like hours or months on the outside. It's like-"

"The den of the Lotus eaters, time is unappearant. It exisit as a surface buffer between Hades and Elysium."

"Exactly, you've gotten smart over the years."
I blushed. "I wouldn't say that! I'm just good at remembering things, especially things my girlfriend says."
Annabeth stared at me. "I see, so did you happen to meet anyone else you'd might know?"
"After I got here I fell asleep, so none so far." I smiled.

"Stop smiling, it's a little annoying." Annabeth replied. "anyways, you're not going to be here for long."
"What do you mean?" I asked.

Annabeth pointed at my head to show me a harsh green light, like what happened to me when I was twelve at the creek. "What is it?" I asked.
"It means someone, a god wants to make you immortal." She explained.

"Why me, I didn't even succeed on my quest."
Annabeth cringed with curiosity. "What quest?"
"I had a quest to find and defeat Chaos."

Annabeth's eyes rose with envy and facination. To tell you the truth I didn't even understand if she knew what Chaos was until, she went on and on about her.

Appearantly Chaos had two sides to him, a male form being destructive yet reserved and a female form that was purely destructive.

"Twenty percent." Annabeth repeated. "Sounds about right, considering that if he did use more he would've killed you on the spot. But why did you challenge him after he told you he'd kill you if the both of you fought?"

"Did I back down against Kronus or Gaea or any of the Giants?" I replied.
"No." Annabeth stated as a question.
"Exactly, but now I'm dead, so it doesn't matter." I replied.

"Seaweed brain, you're becoming immortal, so yes it does. Just remember one thing, when you wake up as a god."

I nodded determined.

"As a god or demigod, as a merman or human, I will always and forever, love you . . ." In a shimmer of light, I saw Annabeth smile untils she disappeared.

I now awoke in front of the twelve Olympian gods on top mount Olympus. Poseidon held my shoulder as Zeus nodded. "Although you've declined my offer twice, I still gave you immortality in the end. Consider it your lasr persent from Uncle Zeus." The god teased.

"Percy, in the end you achieved your quest. I now appoint you the god of fresh and salt waters, along with a chief of Earthquakes. Do me proud Percy." Poseidon said.

With that I became what I am now. I'm no longer Percy Jackson, the savior of Olympus or Boyfriend of Annabeth Chase. I'm now Percy Jackson, the God of Fresh and Salt waters. I'm now the Demigod that became a God.
