Percabeth Drabble

The whole camp was laughing, having a good time after dinner. Jokes were shared, songs sung, and pranks pulled. As the sun set, the scenery was serene, beautiful.

"PERSEUS JACKSON!" Annabeth screamed, clearly irritated. Pretty much every camper, spare the Hypnos cabin, turned their head to the source of the noise. Their sights caught Percy running straight for the lake, Annabeth carelessly thrown on his shoulders. Those who were closer to the action could see Percy's smile, and Annabeth's frantic and angry facial expression.

Of course, it only took a minute for Annabeth to realize where they were headed.

"PERCY JACKSON I SWEAR ON THE RIVER STYX IF YOU SOAK ME IN THE OCEAN I WILL JOIN THE ARES KIDS IN CAPTURE THE FLAG!" She screamed, and some of the Ares cabin cheered, hoping for PErcy to throw her into the water.

Percy kept running, confusing some other campers. Was he not scared of his girlfriend? He was at times, but he wasn't going to soak her in the lake. That was a death wish. He kept running, getting closer to the beach as his girlfriend screamed profanities. When Percy felt the sand underneath his shoes, he manages to run faster, earning a very loud curse from Annabeth. He threw her in the water, jumping in after her.

Annabeth was surprised when she was surrounded by an air bubble. She looked over towards Percy, who smiled like an idiot.

"Looks like you don't get to joint he Ares kids." He said, joining her in the bubble. Annabeth finally laughed, a smile finally showing on her lips. Then another thought made her laugh a little more.

"Imagine Coach Hedge when he hears about this." She prompted, and Percy laughed, both of them imagining Gleeson Hedge screaming and waving his baseball bat around.


"We should go up soon. The campers are probably wondering..." Percy trailed off, but Annabeth shook her head.

"Last time I checked, there isn't a rule against being with your boyfriend underwater."

Ah, yes. The long awaited mediocre chapter. I know I haven't updated in like a month! Even if it is Halloween, I decided to write this one. I have no idea how to write a Halloween special for these two. If you have any ideas, PM me regarding the story, or leave a comment!
