I finished my first two periods and met Thalia for lunch. "So who do you eat with?" I asked her, grabbing my lunch from my locker. "Youll see." she said. And at that, we walked to the cafe. She walked me over to a small tables in the back of the cafe. There, sat seven other demigods.
A girl with with golden brown hair and golden eyes got out of her seat. She walked up to me with a warm smile. "So this is yhe Annabeth Chase people have been talking about? I see the fuss. Your gorgeous!" Yup. I liked this girl. She held out her hand. "Hello, Im Isabel, daughter of Apollo." I smiled at her and shook her hand. Once I touched her hand, the warmth spread through me. "I didnt burn you did I?" she asked with concern. A boy with curly brown hair looked at his friends and coughed the words, 'shes hot'. Apperantly, Isabel took that as an insult. "Haha, Leo. Never heard THAT one before..." she said with an eyeroll. "Anyways, lemme introduce ya to the gang. This is Thalia, Jason, Nico, Bianca, Piper, Leo, and Percy." she said. Percy gave me a wave and a friendly smile. I smiled at everyone and introduced myself. I sat down and got to know everyone. Isabel was extremely nice, Thalia was very kind, Jason was very quiet, Piper radiated charm, Nico and Bianca were very dark and mysterious, Leo was hilarious, and Percy was.... I didnt really know yet. When we finished lunch, it was time for gym. I was lucky to see I had gym with Isabel, Leo, and Percy. We all made our way to the gymnasium. I was surprised to see practice dummies, targets, and armor in the gym... but that was why it was a demigod high school.
Isabel went to the targets and Leo went to the armory, leaving Percy and I in the middle of the gym. "So, new girl... ever swordfought before?"he asked trying to either challenge me, or make small talk. I answered him with a 'duh' expression. He drew his sword. "ha!" I scoffed,"i will squash you like a bug..." He shrugged. "Lets see, Wise Girl..."
