“Percy you’re going to be late for your first day of school”
I put my hand over the phone and yelled back “okay mom I’m coming” I took my hand off the phone “I gotta go babe but I will call you when home from school” on the other end of the line she said “OK sweetie talk to you later” she hung up the line.
I grabbed rip tide and walked in to the kitchen to talk to my mom, Paul, and my little sister Krista. That’s right I said little sister well half-sister well you already know that I have half siblings but not on my mom’s side and I only have one brother that we know of and he’s a Cyclops but don’t get me wrong I do love him very much, but this is different she’s on my mom’s side and well that would be fine if when she was born I was there and not in a pit that was dark and well down right disgusting, I mean how would like walking inside, INSIDE of god, then you can say something. Sorry got off the subject, anyways my mom was pregnant with her when Hera took me, for the record I did not know about it until I got home, turns out mom was pregnant during the titan war and she didn't tell me so I didn't know and then when I got on the argo2 and im’ed her she didn't tell me and then we were busy with the roman's and by the time I finally got home she was already almost three and now she’s afraid of me I mean mom keeps saying that I have to give her time but it’s been two and a half weeks and every time I try to come anywhere near her she screams her head off, she even likes MRS. and MR. bean from the next door down more than me.
In the kitchen mom’s making breakfast, Paul’s reading the newspaper, and Krista sitting at the table asking “mommy who is Pery and why is he living in our house” I almost laughed mom said that when she meets someone new she has a difficult time saying their names and the way she says my name is cute but if you repeat this ever I will hunt you down and stab you in the foot with rip tide
“well Percy is my oldest son and your brother” mom replied
“why is he here now” “ he was with his father for a while then he was at a summer camp and now he’s here” then she raised her voice “Percy come on your going to be late” then she looked at my sister again “cut him some slack sweetie he loves you and every time you refuse him, it hurts him, he would never hurt you ever he would walk to the end of the earth just to make you smile”
“OK mommy I’ll try”
Mom spotted me and smiled but looked away quickly so to not give away the fact that I was listing in on their conversation, so I went all the way in to the room. Krista looked me and said “morning Per…Perc…Pery…..Per-a-c-y”
I smiled and said “good morning Krista, morning mom, morning dad”
“morning” they said in unison, then they laughed
“alright dear eat up, you need to hurry or you will be late” mom said as she sat a plate and my lunch box “there is everything you could want or need” that is code word for ambrosia and nectar. Mom doesn't want Krista to know about who I am well who I really am not who I am ahh you know what I mean.
“thanks mom” I quickly scarfed down my food and grabbed my bags “bye mom, bye dad” then I went over to my sister and gave her a hug “bye little sis, see you when I get home”
She hugged me back and said “bye per-a-cy”
Mom laughed and said “well at least she can say your name per-a-cy” Krista frowned “tern that frown upside down my little kiwi pie” that’s moms nick name for Krista.
I looked at my watch and then remembered that it didn't tell time because it wasn't a watch but in fact was a watch that terns in to a shield, so I looked at the clock that’s hanging on the wall, oh no I needed to leave three minutes ago.
I ran out the door and almost ran over Jason we were going to meat on the street three minutes ago so I guess he’s running late too. We just about laughed our heads off and started to walk down to piper’s palace of a house that’s just down the block and sideways three blocks as bob would say.
From piper’s house the school is two blocks sideways to the left. Just thinking about bob made me laugh out loud and Jason made me laugh more with the look that he gave me. After everything cooled down Jason moved in to our guest house, piper moved back home, Annabeth went to live back with her dad, Nico went to live with his dad, and Hazel well nobody knows where she is, after frank died she was reserved, when we got back to camp she wouldn't talk to anybody and then one day she said she was going for a walk and never came back.
I looked down the street and saw her run across the street, at least I thought it was her so with out telling Jason anything, I took off running after her.
