A Battle Between Brothers
CHAPTER II
I had no choice. I had to fight Hyperion. My brother Koios tossed me my spear. I grabbed it and flew at Hyperion. We went at it for twenty straight minutes, exchanging blows and trying to best the other. I saw Hyperion was sweating. He was starting to tire. If I could keep going, then I would have the upper hand. But I couldn't wait for too long, because I was also tiring. We fought for about ten more minutes. Then I took my spear and swept it across the floor. Hyperion was knocked of his feet and his spear fell out of his hand. I quickly kicked it away and pointed my spear tip at Hyperion's throat."I win" I said. I could tell that Hyperion was humiliated, his pride hurt. I turned around and was about to go to my room when I heard a sound. I quickly turned around and was almost impaled. I moved at the last second and dodged Hyperion's spear, which he had thrown. I grabbed it out of the air and jabbed him in the stomach with the blunt end of the spear. He doubled over, and I kneed him in the face and he fell backwards. I had one spear at his chest and the other at his throat."You have lost this battle,brother. Stay down" I said. Then I heard someone clapping. I looked toward the sound and saw a figure walk out of the shadows. It was my mother,Gaea. And she saw the whole thing.
