Darkness

02.

A week passed by, and with that came even worse news. The weirdo outside my bedroom window decided to stalk me aside from being a pretencious snodd. I payed him no mind, but as the days passed, I felt like his offer was a better than living with the craving of power.

Changing into my sweats and strapped top, I decided to lock the door and open the window. I wasn't doing this for the benifit of having a plutonic relationship. Heck, I barely cared about other people let alone loved them.

"Are you accepting my offer?" Dustin smiled as he climbed in through the window. Looking him over, I decided he would have to do. Taking a lap around him, my cold eyes dared around trying to capture every particle of the boy. He was obviously fit, but how far would he go in a fight. More importantly, how far would he go when his opponent was a girl.

"No, I'm placing a new offer on the table." I said, with a cold expression on my face. I hated showing much emotion, unless it was hatred or disgust. Most of the time it was both.

"Ok." Dustin replied. "Hit me, what did you have in mind?" He held a generic masculine I'm your dream boy kind of smile. "Boyfriend? I'd consider it, you are beautiful and intimidating which is dangerously my type."

Knelting my eyes, I glared at him. "Idiot, no." I sighed. "I want you to teach me how to use self defense. Obviously a boy that can handle a sword must have some combat training skills. Teach me them, I want to be capable to fight."

"What would I get in return?" He asked.

Annoyed I held a small and faint-sighted smile. "Oh, I'll let you live long enough to see next week."
"Fisty." Dustin commented. His favorite word. Holding out my hand I gazed at him.

"Do we have a deal?" I wondered.
"Deal." Duatin shook my hand in the same instant, he flipped me and held me in a arm lock. "Rule number one of combat, never lose your focus. Don't let your gaurd down is rule two."
"Nice reflexes, but let's find a place to train throughout the day, because my dad lives with me and he's got a rule on-"

"Say no more." Dustin nodded. "Meet me at the abandoned Martial Arts Studio near the hospital, tommarow at five, we'll train for three hours, so be ready."

Hopping onto the tree branch, Dustin glanced at her. "This is step one, but in the end you'll want to be apart of us. You'll probably fall in love with me too."

"Keep dreaming," I smirked, "I find it hard to fall for a pretty boy, who's full of himself. But the team might be another situation."

In a rise of his hand, Dustin vanished into darkness. Amazed, I wondered if he could be a brother of mine.

Notes

Author's Note

So, yeah. I'm still not sure if I should continue, right now I'm still planning this story out as I go, so be patient. If you want to see more of Alexis and Dustin comment for it and also rate. There is also a group of kids like them. So don't be surprised to see a few new names and random conversations between strange characters.

Oh yeah and how about that ending in chapter 2? Pretty interesting. Continue reading and commenting to find out if they are or not.
