Delia and Leo ran past the Aphrodite campers, picking up Kat on the way. They didn't stop running until they reached the Big House. They ran right in without knocking.
"Chiron," Delia said, running to a stop. "I need to find my dad."
Chiron sighed, "Fine, sit down." They sat. "I swore not to tell you until you were both at camp, but you're here now so I suppose I have to. You see, you're not like other demi gods. You're both a lot more powerful. Your mum was Aphrodite, that's true, but it's who your dad is that makes you perhaps the most powerful daughters of Aphrodite this century. Except perhaps Piper. Your dad was a demi god as well. But his story is very long. He is a son of Zeus, born before the 2nd world war. He was one of the few demi gods who refused to participate in the war. He went into seclusion in the forest of the gods where Apollo layed a blessing on him- almost adopting him as a son when Zeus refused to claim him because of his refusal to participate in the war. The blessing has extended his life significantly. He tried coming out of seclusion to live in America but he met your mum and when she left him with Kat he freaked and left her in a foster home, heading back to the forest. You're both Daughter's of Aphrodite, legacies of Zeus and Apollo."
Delia and Kat were speechless. Leo stood in the corner, wide-eyed.
"Sounds like you need to go find your dad, but he doesn't want to be found. You'll need a quest issued, Leo can you take them to see Rachel?"
"Rachel?" Kat asked.
"Come on, I'll show you." Leo took Delia's hand and led the two shell-shocked girls up the hill to a cave.
Delia climbed like a goat, waiting for the others at the top. So she was 3/4 god and her dad was favoured of Apollo and almost immortal? Her head buzzed- no. Don't think about it. It'll only make the dizziness worse. The others reached the top.
"Damn!" Leo said "I swear you're half goat!"
Delia giggled "Maybe!" And gave him a quick kiss.
Kat groaned "Enough with the lovey dovey stuff. Please!"
Leo chuckled and led them behind a curtain into the cave.
