Delia

Delia followed Piper and her other siblings around the activities.

First there was canoeing: Delia and Katerina fell in the lake within a minute.

Second there was foot racing. Kat left Delia in the dust: "Well I was at a professional ballet school for 3 years, kinda goes to figure that I'm fitter than you." She explained, executing a pefect triple pirouette.

For their last rotation before lunch they were in the sword arena, being instructed by Jason.
Kat and Delia paired up. Obviously. The other Aphrodite girls apart from Piper weren't even participating so there were only four of them. They had twin swords: a long short bronze blade the length of their arms and a leather grip overlayed with leather cut to a lacy pattern. They had named them 'Twin' and 'Thanatos' meaning twin death. They sparred but they were both equally matched and not that bad- surprising for two demi gods without ADHD.

Jason mixed up the pairs so Kat went to Piper while Delia went to Jason. He was good, but she was better. She disarmed him in one smooth movement and held the two blades to his throat, forcing a surrender. He took back his blade and asked the others to watch her disarm him again. She repeated the movement easily and even some of the girls that were sitting in the stands clapped. Delia figured she was better than she thought.
She grabbed a quick lunch for both her and Leo and took it with her to the bunker. Forcing him to take time off to eat a sandwich. They sat on the catwalk that ran around the edge of the bunker- admiring the now finished hull as they finished their sandwiches.

Afterwards they took a walk around camp. They passed the other Aphrodite campers at their Ancient Greek lesson- which Delia had been excused from permanently as she spoke it fluently- on the condition that she helped teach it every second afternoon. (that day was not one of those afternoons) As they passed Kat pulled a face at her. Holding up her Greek book and mouthing "What the- ?"

They passed the Athena kids at the climbing wall- Delia noticed Nic's black eye. She would have to talk to her sister properly later.

Eventually they reached the canoe lake and sat down.

She eyed Leo warily, wondering if she should tell him of her plan. She decided to- She couldn't face the centaur alone again.

"Leo," she said shakily, eyeing his greasy face.

"What's wrong Lia?" He asked, holding her hand reassuringly.

"It's just, this whole trip was about me finding my dad and I seem to have found everything but. My sister, my mother, you.... it's just- I need to find him Leo. There's something Chiron isn't telling me, and my mum sent me a dream- she wants me to find him! But- I can't face Chiron alone again- not after-" She trailed off. Last time she had come out a nervous wreck and it had taken Leo the better part of a day to cheer her up.

He nodded. "Come on. I'll see him with you." He put his arm around her shoulders as they headed towards the Big House.

Notes

I lied. This is another filler but I'll definitely start the plot properly next chapter, I just needed to set the scene.
Oh and I've noticed that I tend to do lots of short chapters compared to others on this site but it's just cos I break ideas up in my head and that's how they end up. If I was on a computer instead of my phone then they'd be longer. But I'm not allowed on the computer cos I have a tablet and my tablets broken ( :'( )
So yeah, sorry for that!
