Leo
Leo and Delia sat in a low tree bough they had found, discussing the prophecy. Leo couldn't help being hurt when he found out Lia was going but he would have to stay behind. He knew he had to work on the Argo II anyway, but still...
"So it sounds like you and Kat are going with a son of Athena or Hades." He said.
"Hades?" She asked.
"Yeah, the screech owl is one of his symbols." He said.
"But if it's Athena- Oh gods-" Delia said, paling. "Does that mean Nic?" They locked eyes and Leo could see fear in hers.
"It could be, why?"
"Ummmm... well... Kat and him got into a fight." She explained how she had flipped him for insulting her then trying to kiss her.
"Well," He gulped "She sure wasn't kidding when she said she'd flip a guy if he tried to kiss her."
Delia laughed and kissed him as she did whenever he made her laugh. But she soon went back to fingering the scars on her hands nervously.
"How did you get those scars?" He asked. He thought they were rather cute and made her seem more like a real girl than an Aphrodite barbie doll like some of her sisters.
She laughed as she recalled the memory "I tried to climb a barbed wire fence when I was 8, there was a baby goat on the other side, separated from her mum and I was trying to get her back." The scars were ragged and uneven. Leo could only imagine how much it had hurt. The barbed wire on the Ares cabin looked evil!
He held up his scarred hands to her "Well I think your scars are a lot cuter than mine." He told her and she laughed and kissed him again.
"It's a shame you can't come with us." She said.
He nodded "It'll give me a good chance to work on the Argo without any distactions though." He looked at her meaningfully.
"Hey!" She exclaimed, pulling away from him.
"I never said it was a bad distraction." He said, kissing her and smiling. "Just promise to IM me at least once a day." He said.
"I promise." She smiled and they sat there silent for a while just enjoying each other's company until it was time to meet Kat.
