Two Bodies, One Soul
Goodbye, Hello
Leo
Leo stared at the boat, not understanding what he was seeing. Calypso jumped to her feet and started loading supplies onto the boat.
"Come on, Leo." She called, grabbing the curcuit board. "The raft won't stay long."
He helped her load everything on the boat and wire the board to the rudder. Before long everything clicked into place. He looked at Calypso sadly. He needed to leave but he wanted to stay.
"Go." She said, her eyes red.
"I thought the raft only appeared for guys you liked?" He asked.
"Don't push it, Valdez. I still hate you."
"I'll be back for you." He said. "Even if I need to go to Zeus to do it."
"Don't make me empty promises." She shook her head sadly.
"Well how about a full one? There's not way I'm leaving you stuck-"
She pulled his face toward hers and kissed him. Effectively shutting him up. He didn't pull away but he knew it wasn't right. He was being unfair to Delia, yet going off to Delia seemed unfair to Calypso.
She pulled away. "Sorry, that never happened."
He nodded solemnly. "Okay."
"Now get out of here."
"Okay."
He left on the raft, staring back at Calypso. It was bad enough being the only one of his friends separated from the girl he loved for this quest, but now, thanks to the kiniving mind of Khione, he had to leave behind a girl he could never love in return, and go on a deadly quest that would keep him apart from the girl he truly loved and wanted to share his life with.
Gods! Why did everyone insist on messing with him!
He was going to come back for Calypso though. No one deserved her fate, and he needed to make up for breaking her heart.
He sat at a cafe the next day as the Argo pulled up to greet him. He didn't even stand up as his friends walked towards him. Jason caught his eye and saw his miserable look as the girls tackled him in a hug.
He tried to keep it light but he was dreading going back on the Argo. He would have to talk to Delia and he wasn't looking forward to it.
He distacted himself with repairing the ship properly until sunset when he decided he couldn't put off sending the message any longer.
He tossed a drachma through the spray of his cabin shower.

Notes
So yep. I had to make it that he couldn't love Calypso cos he was already in love with Delia. I honestly really ship Caleo but for my story it didn't really work.
Any ideas as to what the silver light could be? I'll reveal it next chapter :)
@The Bright One
Thanks! :D
