Two Bodies, One Soul

Silver Dreams...

Delia

Delia dreamt she was a star. Not like a painted cardboard one you'd find in a primary school play, she dreamt she was in the sky, glowing, looking down at Camp Half-Blood from a dizzying height.
"Hello, Delia." The sweet, familiar voice came from beside her. She saw a woman in a pale blue, greek-style dress sitting on the crescent moon, like the man in the Dreamworks logo.
Her long, dark hair curled around her shoulders, glittering with miniature constellations. She glowed with an unearthly silver glow, one that also shined in her eyes.
"You're the woman that spoke to us through Rachel." Delia recalled.
The woman laughed, "Yes, that was me. Do you recognise me, child?"
"You remind me of Artemis. But she normally appears as a child." Delia was honestly stunned at seeing a lady lounging on the moon.
"Very good. But no, I'm not Artemis. I'm her Grandmother, Phoebe." The woman said kindly.
"The Titan of brightness and prophecy. One of the moon Titans." Delia remembered.
"I've always loved that term, 'Titan of brightness' it always sounds so sweet and simple." The Titan mused. "But yes, I'm also the Titan of prophecy which is why I was able to pass my message on through your Oracle. I am very proud of your plan though, you heeded my message well."
Delia bobbed her head in thanks. "But aren't you supposed to be trapped like the other Titans?"
"Ahhh, but I am. I was exiled to the stars to dwell on my beloved moon. The gods never really considered me much of a threat, I didn't do anything against them. In fact, the myths didn't really mention me at all. I was one of the quieter deities. You see, my nature is like the moon, changing but steady, quiet but significant, dark yet bright. Mortals never really considered me important and I never made a name for myself back in the old days. So now I do what I can to help heroes. I'm making a name for myself now."
Delia nodded quietly while she comprehended what the Titan had said. "Why did you call me here?"
"To tell you that you have the right idea." Phoebe told her. "Stalling is your best option, but you will have to stall for longer than you thought. Reyna will return August first. You must stop the Romans from attacking until then."
Delia nodded. "Got it!"
"Good luck, my dear." The lady smiled kindly. "And do not give into grief. Hope is always closer than you think."
Before Delia could ask what she meant, she was woken up by the Kat whacking her with a pillow.

"Come on, Lia. War announcements at breakfast." Kat said.
Delia sighed, it was going to be a long day.

Delia was snagging a quiet moment in the sword arena in between training sessions. Moments like that were scarcer than ever as the plan began to come to a head. Two more days unil the Romans arrived.
The air in front of her began to shimmer, no doubt another IM from Piper who'd been messaging her daily with news of the ship and Leo.
She choked down a strangled noise when she saw Leo's greasy face. Skinnier and framed by longer hair, but definitely his face.
"Leo?" She sobbed. "Is that really you?"
"Yes." He said quietly. "Don't cry, Lia. I'm really sorry but I couldn't leave sooner. I was stuck."
"Where?" She asked. Her voice barely audible beneath the shock and relief.
"Calypso's island." He said quietly. He clearly didn't want to talk about it so she let it slide. She'd heard the story about Percy and Calypso, Leo would tell her his in his own time.
"Oh gods, Leo. I thought you were dead!" She exclaimed.
"I told you I'm a lot harder to get rid of than that!" He grinned.
It felt so good to see him smile that she couldn't help but smile through the drying tears on her face.
She laughed, "I guess I'm gonna have to try a lot harder then!" She teased him.
"I'm never going to leave you, Delia." He said seriously.
She smiled. "I'm never gonna leave you either. I love you."
"I love you too." He grinned. "Now, what's your plan for the camp?"
"We're going to stall until Reyna gets back." She told him.
"How?" He asked.
Delia heard her sword class approaching. "Sorry Leo, my class is here. I'll message you later."
He nodded and she savoured one last look at his face before waving her hand through the image and turning to her class, a grin on her face for the first time in days.

Notes

So the silver light was Phoebe; the moon Titan. (And yes, I put her in because I love her name) ;)
Oh and yes, I figured out how to put in a line. Turns out you press the line button. Who would've thought?
So yeah, please tell me what you think and give me some ideas for the story.
(And if you didn't get the joke about her name, my name's Phoebe, meaning 'the bright one', hence the username)
