Kat

Kat left her judo class and headed to lunch. She felt elated and bubbly for some reason she couldn't explain. When she saw her sisters' grin she knew it had something to do with that.
"Hey, Lia." She greeted her twin, plopping down beside her. "Why are you in such a good mood? It's a bit hard to be aggressive when I've got your feelings making me feel so light headed!"
Delia grinned at her. "Leo sent me a message."
"What?" Kat squeeked, a little too loud. She hushed her voice a bit, understanding Delia's sudden good mood. "That's amazing! When was this?"
"About an hour ago. He was stuck on Calypso's island." Delia explained.
"Calypso's island? The one Percy was stuck on?"
Delia nodded solemnly, "The very same."
Kat was silent for a time while she inhaled a cheeseburger.
"Hey, uh, I had a dream last night." Delia said in their heads. They tried to talk like that as much as possible to master their twin skills. It was also very useful cos they could talk while they were eating.
"Oh, yeah?"
"Yeah. Uh, it was from Phoebe."
"The Titan?" Kat was surprised, Titans hardly ever contacted demigods.
"Yep. She was the silver light."
"Oh, that would make sense. Titan of Oracle, duh."
"She said our plan has the right idea but we'll need to stall for longer than we thought. Reyna will be back on August first."
"That should work." Kat thought.
The plan. It was so simple that it couldn't help but work. Octavian hadn't agreed to any terms other than the date the Romans would arrive and that there would be a duel to the death. The Greeks planned to hold an old-fashioned Olympic Games style tournament, they were going to hold two events every week leading up to the sword fighting finals last. A duel to the death. Hopefully that wouldn't happen before Reyna arrived but until then no blood was going to be spilled.
"Hopefully." Delia said.

After dinner Kat wanted nothing better than to collapse on her bed, but she knew she had to send Nico an IM while her siblings were still at the campfire. She took advantage of the empty bathroom and tossed a coin into the sink.
Nico's cabin showed up in the water, he was still snoring but the sun was up.
"Nico!" She yelled.
"Huh?" He rolled over, yawning, then saw Kat's face in the mist. "What's up, Sunshine?"
She glared at him.
"Oh, come on, don't be like that." He said, his eyes still half shut.
"What's the time over there?" Kat asked him.
He checked his watch. "About eleven."
"Sounds like it's time to get your kolo our of bed." She snapped.
"Nah." He said.
She glared at him more and he sighed.
"Fine." He got out from under his covers and perched on the edge of his bed. "Better?"
She eyed his skull and crossbones pajamas and grinned.
"Better."
It was his turn to glare at her.
"Not funny." He grumbled.
Kat just grinned in response.
He sighed in surrender.
"So how's Leo? Lia said he was back." Kat asked.
"He's ok but he's been really quiet, I think Jason knows what's up but otherwise I've no clue." Nico admitted.
"Huh, I'll have to talk to Jason later then."
"Might work. How's the plan going?" Nico changed the subject.
"Two days 'til they get here. Until then we just wait and train."
"Sounds fun." He said sarcastically.
She stuck her tongue out at him.
"You know you love me." He gave her the puppy dog eyes.
She glared at him before giving in with a sigh. "I have no idea why but yes, unfortunately I do love you."
He stuck his tongue out at her.
"Nico! Breakfast!" Hazel called from outside the door.
"One sec!" He called.
"Bye, shadow." Kat smiled at him.
"Bye, sunshine." He smiled back as the image faded and she was left alone in the bathroom.

Notes

So I revealed the silver light and the plan as promised :)

(and yes, I know Nico doesn't have a cabin on the Argo but Lia helped Leo design and she made him put in extra bedrooms 'in case'. Just some girl logic there)
