Kat

Kat entered the bunker in time to see Lia jump down from the ladder, tears streaming down her face and her heart clearly aching. Kat's heart felt like it was being ripped out of her chest in empathy. It hurt her to see her sister this way. She ran up to her to comfort her.

"Hey, it's gonna be ok." Kat whispered. Hugging her sister.

"Thanks." Lia smiled wryly as they looked up at the deck where the crew had gathered on deck and were coming down a ramp to say their final formal goodbyes.

Kat led her twin around to say goodbye to their friends. The crowd gathered around the crew and they were smothering them in hugs.
Kat and Delia said goodbye to Piper and Jason first, asking them to look after Leo on the trip. Next they said goodbye to Annabeth, wishing their cousin luck. Neither of them really knew her properly as she'd been away a lot searching for Percy.

Lastly Kat said goodbye to Leo.

"Look after her for me, will you?" He whispered to her, "Just until I come back."

Kat nodded, "Always." She stepped back so her sister could say goodbye to Leo again.
Delia stood beside Kat as the crew boarded and took off through the open roof of the bunker.

Delia began to weep uncontrollably. Kat led her to the beach away from the crowds and they sat on the cool morning sand until Lia pulled herself together.

Kat hugged her sister. "Don't worry about Leo, he can take care of himself. Until then we have our own job!"

"I guess you're right." She smiled.

"As always." Kat added.

"Don't push it!" Delia giggled, still sniffling. "Who do you want on our team to defend camp?"

"I'd had to say definately Tink and Annie but I don't know about the other. Maybe Nico if he gets back."

"How long has it been since you last heard from him?" Delia asked her.

"He left after the party and he messaged me until about a week ago. He said he was going to help his dad close the doors of death and I haven't heard from him since." Kat didn't know what happened to him.

"No news is good news, isn't it?" Delia asked her.

Kat shrugged, "I guess."

They sat on the beach for hours, just enjoying each other's company and thinking until the bell was called for lunch.

"Come on," Kat said, getting to her feet. "I'm hungry and I don't care if you're not. I need some intelligent company and with Piper gone intelligent company is in short supply at the Aphrodite table."

She dragged Delia behind to the dining table.
"You're amazing, you know that?" Delia laughed.

"Obviously." Kat called back at her.

Notes

I had a little Harry Potter moment right there (in bold)
So Kat's trying to cheer Delia up while dealing with her own problems with Nico. (Just in case I wasn't clear)
Gonna watch Sea of Monster's later. It's not as good as the book but it's an alright movie.
Anyways, keep telling me what you think cos I love feedback.
These Notes are just getting more and more off track but oh well :P
