Nico walked into his cabin in search of a bed to nap in, instead he was greeted by another hug that crushed the air from his lungs.
"I've missed you!" Nisha said, her voice muffled in the folds of his aviator jacket.
"I've missed you too." He squeezed his little sister tight before releasing her and examining her pale face.
Her eyes wore lines of worry that faded into her wide grin. Her black hair was gleaming in the green light from the torches, tucked under a cap in the way that reminded him so much of Bianca.
Bianca, Nisha said that she had met her once, that Bianca had known all along that there was another daughter of Hades out there. And Nisha had been the one to welcome Bianca into the Hunter's of Artemis. Nisha had left soon after Bianca's death to come to Camp Half-Blood. She was the only one who really understood Nico's feeling of loss and grief.
"How had Kat been?" He asked her, going to his bunk and running his hand over his Mythomagic Hades figurine, so cold and so dark.
"She hasn't really been great after you left but things got better for her when she heard you were coming back. She managed to kick some serious butt in that tournament!" Nisha told him.
He grinned, that was the Kat he loved. "Of course she did."
Nisha grinned back at him. "So I'll leave you to nap or play with dolls or whatever you kids do these days!"
"Hey!" He protested. "You may have been a Hunter for ten years but I was stuck in a hotel for fifty!"
"Sure, sure." She winked at him before closing the door to the cabin and he heard her footsteps thudding down the stairs.
He sighed and collapsed in his bed, fully clothed. He fell asleep almost instantly with a kind of peace coming over him, a peace he hadn't felt for a while. He was home.

Just explaining Nico's relationship with Nisha here :)
I wrote this whole thing with my feet in an ice bath, I could hardly walk before! But I remembered why I started dancing and it feels so good to know that I'll be on pointe in an advanced class next year!
