The Two That Went Missing

“What?” Sarah asked, turning to Julia, I thought I actually saw some wheels turning in Julia’s head.
“ Well, think about it, his wife released all the evil into the world, killing millions and millions of people, and it was kinda, maybe his fault cuz he had the key, he was supposed to protect, even if it was a trap. It was half of his fault, that billions of people died too, sooooo wouldn’t he go to a place where he could mourn for all the people he killed..” Sarah and I looked at each other amazed, did she really think of that herself?
“Or he could be at a strip club, ya know, he wife is an outcast” she said with a grin, ahh there it is...
“Well, we don’t any other ideas” Sarah said, I nodded
“but there all hundreds cemeteries in Santa Fe” I said, getting a quizzical look from Julia, I think, if she kept thinking, her head might explode.
“Well, what about the national cemetery? I mean, its a start” I shrugged my shoulders, I had no other ideas.
“Off to the cemetery we go...uh where is it?” Julia asked, Sarah pulled out a map,
“Well, I come prepared, unlike some others” she said, glaring at Julia, then she unfolded the map, then unfolded it again, then again then again then again and again. when she fully had unfolded it, it was about the size of a whiteboard. she lied it down on the ground and we all stared at it, it had all the roads, side roads, tourist attractions, and even ponds. Sarah and I sat down and started looking for the cemetery, Julia going off and doing her own thing, after a half an hour of looking, we had gone through about 1/3 of the map. Julia had fallen asleep, against a tree, I turned to a Sarah who was concentrating very hard,
“I don’t know how you put up with her sometimes” I said, getting an irritable look from Sarah.
“Oh, leave her alone, let her have her fun” she said, crossing off another part of the map.
“I mean, everyone has to grow up after awhile, don't you think?” I said, Sarah finally turning to me.
Ok Nico, we all had problems when we grew up, if im wrong, correct me, you spent some time in the Lotus Hotel?” she asked, I swallowed, how did she know that?”
“yes...” I said, she nodded and pointed to Julia, I looked at her, she had her mouth wide open and drool on the corner of her mouth
“Well, she had to live with her mother, who was strict and never let her do anything, then when her mother got tired of her, she put her in the orphanage, has someone ever got tired of you and just got rid of you?” she asked, I shook my head,
“She wouldn’t behave whenever she got adapted, she never trusted anyone once her mother gave her up, she would run away and live on the streets, till someone else found her and brought her back to another orphanage but you know what the worst thing was about her? She never had anyone, you had your sister? she didn’t have anyone, I only had Drakon, but then we met, and got to know each other, we only trusted each other.” she said finishing, turning back to the map,
“Do you know why we joke and have fun? because we could never did as kid, julia, not as much as me, me not as much as you.” she said, she was right.
“I don’t know why you don't try and have fun too, while we are young, I mean you still can, look at Julia, sure, she might be weird but she having is fun, thats why I never stop her” she said, I nodded my head, I had a horrible childhood, maybe worse than Sarah’s, I never had fun, had to move from place to place, stuck in the Lotus Hotel, my mother killed. I guess, it makes sense, Julia didn’t have a childhood, so she having one know. I was about to talk, when she point to a place on the map,
“There it is, lets get a move on” she said , circling it with a color pencil and pin pointing the route. I stood up and gather my things, Sarah throw something at Julia,
“RISE AND SHINE, SUNSHINE, ITS TIME TO MOVE” Julia groaned,
“five more minutes, you fat gordo “she said, waving her off, Sarh lunged at her,
“YOU LITTLE-” she said jumping on to Julia and then getting to a first fight, I grinned, maybe I could have fun sometimes, but now was not the time, we had a quest we have to finish,
“Alright ladies, we have a titan to found” I said, them stopping mid fight and turning to me, Sarah pulling Julia’s hair and Julia biting Sarah’s arm.
