The Two That Went Missing

I slowly made my way down my tunnel, it seemed to go on forever, just endless bare white walls, finally it came to a big white door with a gold door knob. I tried to push it open, nothing. I tried to pull it open, nothing. I looked around, just white. I turned around, and looked down the hallway, it seemed to go on forever, kinda reminded me of my very first house. I watched and the tunnel looked like it started to get smaller and smaller, like the tunnel was going to close in. I started to pull and push the door over and over again, I looked behind me, it was coming faster now, there was a white wall on the other end, I was going to be squished, probably the stupidest way to die! With one last push, I got the door to open, I fell forwarded, and the door slammed shut behind me.

I looked around, it was a square room, the floor and ceiling was white, and on every space on the wall was, tv monitors, I was in the matrix! On the other side of the room was a door, it opened and a beautiful tall women walked out, it was my mom,
“Mom?” I said, in a cracked whisper, she smiled a polite smile and nodded her head
“Yes, it’s me, do you remember me?” I shook my head yes,
“What are yo-” She snapped her fingers and I couldn’t talk, I held my throat, she smiled and started to pace,
“ You never did shut up, always talking and talking” She paused “You were such a bad girl” I tried to move back but was paralyzed, why was she here now and I wasn't a bad girl.
“Always had to be hit, still you wouldn’t listen, soon I didn’t feel like dealing with you anymore and just got rid of you,” she snapped her fingers “just like that” A pain swelled up inside of me, I went to move toward her, when she smiled,
“Just like everyone” I froze, On one of the monitors came up my first adoptive parents,
“You are a bad little girl! A very bad little girl!” They yelled, I turned away, soon, every family, couple or person that adopted me came up on the screen, screaming and yelling at me. I fell to the floor and covered my ears, but no use, I could hear everything still, in one last effort, I screamed. I screamed as loud as I could, the room shook, all of the monitors flashed black. I felt something touch my arm, I looked up and my mom was holding my shoulder. She smiled,
“you had a rough childhood, Honey” She said, videos of me running away, hiding in allies, be taken back and my childhood flashed on the monitors. She stood up and walked toward the door,
“Come with me, I can make you forget this things, we will start over” She said holding out a hand. I stood up and walked towards her.

Then I paused
“why would I come with you?” I said, she receded, my eyes starting to glow bright,” OF ALL PEOPLE TO GO WITH, I WOULD NEVER GO WITH YOU!” I screamed, the room started to get filled with light, “my mom” backed up,
“ THOSE THINGS FUEL ME TO KEEP GOING FORWARD, WHY WOULD I FORGET THEM?” I screamed again.
"WHY WOULD MY MOTHER COME BACK NOW AFTER ALL THIS YEARS?! YOU AREN'T MY MOTHER!" I yelled again,

I snapped back, a green old women was holding sharpened claw to my neck, she went to back up but I had already took her head off with one swing of my scythe.
"My mother never called me honey" I said, as she crumbled into dust I looked around, I was on my knees, in the middle of a stone room. I slowly got to my feet, my arm had been cut where, it had touched me. It was a Achlys, they are demons of misery, they try to trick you and kill you when you are not paying attention. I slowly walked across the room, where a brown wooden door was, I pulled opened the door, the whole door came off the hinges, I threw it to the side of the room and walked down the dark tunnel.

I hope Sarah and Nice are ok, and got faced with a different monster or none at all. It’s scary how easily you could get tricked, one minute you’re on a quest, next you think your at home again. My scythe scraped against the tunnel floor, as I came out to a different room, It was a rainbow of colors, with the lava glass floor. In the middle of it, was Sarah, she sat still watching me and hugging her knees. Welp, I guess, she didn’t have a fun time either. She slowly got up and staggered over to me, I made my way to her. We ment in the middle, where we fell into a hug and started at Nico’s tunnel, waiting for him to come out.
