My journey

It was midnight, dark yet warm and breezy. If I hadn't told you already, I'm from Miami, Florida. Yeah you think it would be a blast there, but it's not. Anyway, I ran off not knowing where I was going. I decided that running North would help me get away faster. I ran and ran along the beach because the water and moon seem like my home. I keep getting off track! Ughhhhh! So i was running and running until I fell on top of someone.

He has sandy hair piercing blue eyes and the sweetest smile I've ever seen.

"Hey" I said stuttering while getting up

"Hey" he sounded just like the sun shining down while I get a tan. "Sorry bout that. I wasn't looking."

"It's ok sooo what's your name?" I must have looked like a fool saying that.

"Jake, Jake Hill. What's your's" he said with that head over heels smile.

"My um it's um Katie Luxemburg." Omg i am an idiot.

We walked up the beach talking about our life until the sun came up.

"I gotta go, I don't belong here." I said disappointed

"I'll come with you." Jake said running ahead of me.

This is gonna be the best friendship I've ever had.
