Lost, Life, and Love

"Sarah, time to get up. Sarah, please get up. Sarah. Sar. Please?" Someone begged me while poking me.
"Go away." I said and rolled over. I thought I was going to be greeted my cold bed not cold floor. I landed on someone's foot.
"Gods. Maybe next time I will bring you bacon. Though, I didn't have to earlier today. Could you get up now?" I sighed in defeat and opened my eyes to look at Charlie.
I got up, without his help. "What are you doing here?"
"My family always helps set up the get-togethers. Leo always hosts the May one. You have to actually not sleep now." Charlie put his hands on my waist.
"Yay. How many people are going to be here?" I asked in annoyance. I do not like people.
"Me, my parents, my sister, my brothers. Then you, Leo, and Nico. Followed by the Graces, which would be Jason, Piper, Liam, Stacy, and Thalia. I think the Zhang's might over whelm you, Hazel, Frank, Gwen, Daphne, Sammy, Georgia, Lisa, and their dogs, Marco, Pollux, and Castor. Then Reyna, Octavian, and Rachel. All of them are definitely coming but there is a chance that ten more people might show up."
"At least 23 people and 3 dogs are going to be here? Gods. As if today wasn't bad enough. Oh right, I still need to tell you. But telling Leo, Percy, and Annabeth with you might be easier." I stopped a this confused face. "When does the get together start?"
"In six hours. Do you want me to go get my parents and Leo?" I nodded and Charlie released my waist and ran to get them. This wasn't going to be easy.
"I'm not sure what it is, but it's something big enough her father, Apollo, had to come and comfort her." Leo said as he and the others neared the room. Charlie opened the door and let them in.
"None of you get to speak until I've finished." I paused, everyone nodded. "You all should know what happened. Well, turns out Venus decided that this, 'framily', needed some drama. Before the forbidden couple got together and caused lots and lots of love drama. So, she decided since Leo was adopting that whoever eh was adopting should be a parent. She is the reason Charlie and I did it and," everyone looked at me, "why I'm pregnant."
The room erupted in voices, everyone but me was talking. I sat down on the edge of my bed. Charlie sat next to me and out his head in his hands. I rubbed my hand up and down his back. I knew what had run through my head, I couldn't even imagine what was running through his head.
"Get away from my son. If I every see you near him again I will personally cut out your throat." The woman in the room said. I believe she was Charlie's mom. "I said get away form him. You have ruined everything in his life and you don't belong."
I stood up and ran past them. I flew down the stairs and out of the mansion. I ran until I couldn't breathe. I was in a forest. I sat down. Great, another woman who hates me. First my mother, then my foster mothers and sisters. Add my boyfriend's mother to the list and I don't think I can ever trust anyone. I heard a man's heavy tread coming towards me. I scrambled up the tree I was leaning on.
"Where? Where is she? Great, I can't find her and Leo said she has a really dark past. For all I know she could be jumping off a cliff." Charlie was directly below me. If he looked up or I made the slightest wrong move, he'd know I was here. He resumed running and I let out my breathe once he was out of ear shot.
I hopped done and started walking perpendicular to path Charlie had taken. I came to a cliff. It had a really pretty view. The wind was strong, pushing me away from the edge. I sat down, dangling my feet over the edge. I smiled at the blue sky. I started leaning towards the edge. What a great way to die. No one watching. No one to say goodbye to. A beautiful picture.
"SARAH! DON'T!" Liam yelled behind me. I realized how close to death I actually was and scrambled away form the edge. It was a 200 foot drop. Holy shit! I closed my eyes and took a couple of deep breaths.
"I wasn't going to." I said quietly. Liam ran up to me and crushed me in a bear-hug. I found myself needing air, again. "Can't breathe. Release me?" I said with as little air as possible. Liam release me and I gulped in the air.
"I can't believe you would attempt that! Are you crazy? Do you know how much it would be dark if you did? Charlie loves you. What would he do if you died?" Liam talked rapidly.
"LIAM? DID YOU FIND HER?" Percy yelled. I smiled. Yeah, your boyfriend almost finds you but then the boy you met at school and your boyfriend's father find you instead. Awesome.
"YEAH! YOU'RE FATHER WOULD'VE BEEN PISSED IF I HADN'T!" Liam yelled back as Percy came out of the trees.
"Why would my father have been mad if you hadn't?" He asked as he came over.
"Because if he hadn't brought me back to reality I would've fallen over the edge. Then died. I do believe that wouldn't have made Poseidon very happy. Seeing how I'm pregnant with hid great-grandchild." Liam gasped and Percy rolled his eyes.
"You and Charlie? Had? You're pregnant? No!" Liam couldn't even say complete sentences.
"I was not expecting that." A voice very much like Charlie's and Percy's said from behind me. I turned my head and saw a guy that looked a lot like Percy but was older. OH! He was that pizza guy that one time.
"Hey! Your that one pizza guy!" I yelled, against my will. He laughed.
"Hey, dad." Percy said meekly.
"Lord Poseidon. What a pleasure meeting you." Liam kneeled and both Percy and I laughed. "What? I'm avoiding death. By godly powers anyways. You two should have more respect."
"I'm sorry, but once I find out a god has delivered my pizza, I lose all respect for them. Maybe you should try being less stiff." I continued laughing.
"All respect?" Poseidon said.
"Yeah, you messed up the order." I explained and Percy burst out laughing.
"My mistake." Poseidon said and all of us started laughing. I can't believe that I'm laughing at this situation. Charlie burst into the area. I started crying because I was laughing so hard.
"Sarah!" He ran to me, avoiding hitting his father and Liam. I was crushed in his hug. Again? Can boys stop making it impossible of r me t breathe by hugging me?
"Wow. I feel sorry for her. Liam then you, bro. I bet she'll be able to hold her breath for a long time after receiving hugs form both of you." A female voice said. Charlie loosened his grip and turned to it. I looked at her. Her blonde hair was just like Percy's and Charlie's, completely messy and crazy. Her sea-green eyes studious and alert.
"Callista? I thought you had practice." Percy asked, confused.
"Dad," oh, Callista is Charlie's sister, "I don't have practice today because of it being Detention Day. Why do you think that Leo's holding the get-together today? It's Friday. You really think he'd make us kids come when we might have a but ton of homework and are really tried because of the classes. I think not."
"That makes sense. Sarah, my wife is sorry. She was just freaked out because she doesn't want Charlie to try to do what we had to. Let's all head back and get the party ready to start." Percy said as he stood up.
Charlie offered me a hand and I took it. Liam smiled at Callista and they mimicked us. I laughed with Charlie. Liaista, such a cute couple. We started the long walk back to Leo's me smiling the whole way.
