The Forbidden Daughter

When everyone had awoke, Nichole had disappered.

"Come on! No no no, we just got to her. Now she's gone." Frank said, cursing under his breath.

"Guys, look what I found." Jason said, holding up something.

"Whoa, is that-?" Percy started.

"A dragon?" Leo finished. The dragon was made of silver with what looked like ebony. The dragon was curled around a ruby pedestal which every now and then flickered with light, making it look like it was on fire. The dragon's eyes were made of Onyx and so were the claws that held the pedestal.

The most surprising but amazing part of the dragon, both it and the pedestal were carved with Greek and Roman letters. All at once, the pedestal flashed brightly and the were tranported to the front of a small cave entrance.

"Ow." Everyone but Leo said, he had gone off to investigate the cave.

"Leo! Get back here!" Annabeth yelled after him. They followed after them and were stunned when they got in.

"Sweet." Percy and Frank said together. There was 12 different sections in the cave, each for a god or goddess. Zeus's was full of clouds and rain. Poseidon's was full of water and sea animals. Athena's was a giant library. Hephaestus's was a forge. Ares's was a training ground. Aphrodite's was a store full of random stuff. Hades's was a room full of silence and peacefulness. The necklace started to pull Hazel towards the part of the cave that was fully on fire.

"Leo! Help!" Leo ran over and grabbed the necklace from her hands. The closer he got though, the more it started to hurt. When he go so close that the fire was able to touch him, he screamed and dropped the necklace.

It disappeared into the fire and Leo was on the ground holding his hand. When they ran over to help him, everyone gasped.

The fire had burned Leo.
