Broken Heart

Beep. Beep. Beep. My alarm goes off. I get up and yawn. Today's the day I'm gonna ask Annabeth out. On an actual date! Piper had laid out a suit and tie, with a bouquet of roses. I got dressed, and tried taming my messy hair.

Eventually, I just I.M (Iris Message) Piper. She said she'd be over in a few. I sat down on my couch and sighed. Tyson plopped down beside me.

"Good morning Tyson!" I said, feeling upbeat and happy. He smiled and hugged me, I swear a bone cracked. " 'morn Percy!" He said. "why you so fancy?" I grinned, "I'm asking Annabeth out." Tyson wiggled his eyebrows.

"Oh stop it!" I said, smiling. A soft knock echoed through the room. "Pipes! Come on in!" I called. She came in carrying a ton of make up stuff. "Uh, you know I'm a guy right?" I asked. She laughed, "Yeah, but you need a total make over!"

I sighed, and she plopped down next to me. I sighed as she closed in on me, smearing my face with makeup. Her breath was hot against my neck. Piper took a comb and hairspray and began doing my hair. Then she applied some light eyeshadow.

"Done!" She cried. I raced to the mirror and gazed at myself. I looked nice, and smiled. Tyson laughed, "Percy looks pretty!" I smirked and slapped his arm, then hurried out the door.

I went to Athena's cabin and knocked. Immeaditly a voice yelled, "Annabeth's not here Percy! Go away!" I smiled and went down to the lake. Sure enough there she was, sitting on the dock. Her bare legs dangled over the side and the sun made her hair glow. She was smiling and looking out into the lake.

I made my way toward her, when I noticed something; she wasn't alone. A guy sat next to her, his arm draped over her shoulders. He didn't have a shirt, and had light brown hair. He wore blue shorts and sunglasses.

"Annabeth, who's this?" I ask. She whirls around, "Percy!! Uh, go away." I rose an eyebrow, "I'm sorry?" She sighed, "Dylan?" The guy got up. He was much taller then me, and muscles budged from his arms.

"Leave." He said. Normally, I would have ran away. But this is Annabeth. "Make me." I said. Stupidest thing that I ever said. He grinned and picked me up over his shoulder. Then, he chucked me through the air and into the water.

I landed with a great splash, and for some reason I got wet. I saw Annabeth lean over and kiss Dylan. Right on the lips!
