Just Smile

When I woke up, I wasn't sure were I was. I felt for my glasses. They were on a nightstand next to me. When I finally could see. I was in a infirmary maybe. Someone open the curtains. It was a dark hair boy. He was just as surprised as I was.

"What are you doing here?" He asked me.

"I don't know."

"Daaaaany." The boy yelled. My school nurse came in.

"Oh she wake now. Good. Hello, Claire." He said. He shoed away the kid.

"Where am I? Why am I here?"

"Wait no questions. I will answer most of them soon."

"Okay." I took a breath and waited for him. He smiled.

"You are in Camp Half-Blood, home for demi-god children. This is a safe place where you learn to train to protect yourself, go on quest, make friends, enemies, family, and memories. It is run by Mr. D. He is the wine god, Claire. Be nice to Mr. D. What else. Oh yeah. Which parent takes of you?"

"My mom. Does she know I'm here."

"Very. That narrows it down a little. You are a daughter of a male god."

"As in Greek and Roman." I was starting to go into shock.

"Greek. Roman doesn't existence from what we know."

"How does my dad claim me?"

"I don't know. Usually with a symbol over your head when you prove enough to him. Any more questions?"

"Yeah. Two actually. Who your parent and when can I get some clean clothes?"

"My mom is Athena. I got you some clothes. BRB."

I put on my jacket. It was a little cold here. Where I am from winter starts early. It kinda horrible. This what I thought fall was really like.
Danny was waiting for me outside. He showed me around. We got to the archery ranger. Danny introduced me to a half man and half horse dude.

"Hello, Claire. I'm Chiron trainer of young heroes. It nice to finally met you."

"Same here."

Danny showed me everything. The finally he showed where I was going to stay.

"It kinda crowed." Danny said. HE knocked on the door. "Welcome to your new home, Claire. The cabin of Hermes."

Danny open the door. There were kids everywhere. I stuck close to Danny. HE handed me off to a pair of twins.

"I'm Travis." One said.

"I'm Connor." The other said.

"Claire." I was really scared.

A kid around my age came up to the twins and whispered something to them then left.

"Great." I think Travis said. "There a party tonight. Only a few kids can go. It for you by the way, You're coming whether you like it or not."

There was a weird sound coming from somewhere. Kids lined up. I stood in the back. We went outside to get food. I followed what they did. I dumped some my food. Hoping someone will hear my call and give me a sign or something.

"I bet she Athena." One kid said. "She blonde like them. She looks really smart too."

"No, I bet it Apollo."

Arguments and bets went around. The twins hit the table.

"Wait, first let see if she who are human parent is." Connor said.

Everyone looked at me. I felt my face go red. "My parent who took care of me. Was my mom."

"A bunch of kids groaned and gave in their bets. The kids are now betting which male I belong to. We went to a sing along. It was fun I thought.
After lights out, Conner and Travis poked at me.

I actually liked what I was given. They made me run to catch them. We went down to the beach where a giant fire and kids talking happening. I meet a bunch of kids.
This cute guy came up to me.

"Hey, I'm Nick." He was blonde with a lip piercing.

"Claire."

'Who your parent?"

"I don't know just yet."

"That sucks. Guys shut up I hear something." Everyone got dead silent. I heard something too. "RUN!" Nick yelled.

Someone took out the fire. Everyone ran to their cabins. Travis grabbed my arm. We got in the cabin and settled down. Travis and Connor wouldn't stop giggling. I wanted to punch them. Soon my eyes felt heavy. Then darkness
