Someone stepped me this morning. Now I had a bruise on my back where stepped on me. I followed the girls to the showers. We got first slot for showers. Which meet hot water for once. The girls chatted about boys while they got cleaned.
I was fixing my hair to make it look okay. One of the girls asked me if I seen any cute boys yet.

"Not really other than Danny. I found anyone really attractive yet." was my responds.

"Really. Well we make sure you get to see one of the Aphrodite boys. All of them are hot."
She smiled at me. "Oh yeah, by the way I'm Trace, daughter of Hermes."

She was rather cute for a girl. She had dark hair. Her skin was slightly dark, but she looked good. She had a prefect toned body. I wanted her body I always dreamed on having a body like her.

"I'm Claire." I held out my hand. She shook mine.

"Hey Trace, let talk about Poseidon's kid, Percy." a girl said.

"He cute in a way.." She saw me looked confused. "Percy Jackson is the hot shot in camp. He has the this big Prophecy about him. That what rumors are saying. Who knows. Anyway, dark hair and sea green eyes. He about your age I think."

I looked at myself in the mirror. Just a wave a bad memories flood me. I grabbed a sink and held my head.

"Are you okay?" Trace asked.

"Yeah. Just got an headache." I replied.

"When your mom sending your stuff?" She asked.

"Today some time."

We walked out of the showers. The rest of the girls followed us. We went to dining place. Everyone had breakfast. Chiron had an announcement for us.

"Today we are having a completion day!" Everyone cheered. "It will start in a half an hour after breakfast. Get yourselves suited up and for teams."

We were dismissed. I followed everyone to the cabin. We circled up.
Everyone got put into tams where they were good with. I was left to be a sub for any one. We headed out to the archery range. Archery was first to start everything and the last thing was capture the flag.
We were one short. I had to fill in that spot. We got set up. Some one explained everything to me really fast. I just had to hit that middle dot. We lined up. I was the only one to hit it. Everyone kept getting eliminated. I was one of the two left. Me and an Apollo kid. I prayed to my godly parent to give me strength. I won the math by a hair. MY whole team cheered. Some kids whispered something about Apollo. I ignored them. We went through a couple of rounds. We only one two of them. Second to last game was a music contest.

"Who going?" Trace asked everyone.

"We all going to lose to Apollo." One kid said.

"Only way to win if one of us was a music protégée." Another said.

I took a deep sigh. "I go."

"What? Claire, why would you want to go. This is one of the hardest games here." Trace said.

"I'm a music protégée like my mother. I came try to win." I said.

I felt everyone eyes on me. I wanted to go lay in a hole and be forgotten. We got to the stage area. I went up when they called us. I could tell people were surprised that I went up there.

"Here are the rules," Chiron said. "You must a song you know. Mr. D and I will be the judges. Anyone in the crowd can vote for you, but we will make the final decision. Ares you are up first."

At the final round, it was me and a son from Athena. The Apollo kid got staged fright the fled. The cabin of Apollo are looking for him still. The boy got to the stage and started playing the piano. He smirked at me when he was done. I grabbed a guitar and plugged it to the amp. I took a breath and went through the songs in my mind. I picked a good one. I sung Let Live by Of Mice & Men.

I screamed at the prefect time. sang at the right moments. I hit every note on the guitar. The crowd was silence. I smiled at the sky. I was really proud of myself. Chiron stood up.

"Looks like we have a winner here tonight." Chiron held my arm up." Claire of the Hermes cabin has won. Everyone get to your battle stations w-"

He was cut off by a blinding light over my head. It died down. Everyone was staring at the top of my head. I looked up to see a weird instrument over my head.

"Congrats Claire, daughter of Apollo. You will be switched to your new home tomorrow. Hermes still one this round."

My cabin rushed to me and hugged me. Everyone was happy that we won and there was going to be more room in the cabin tomorrow. We went to the forest. I got put on border guard with this Percy Jackson guy.

"How did you like camp, Claire?" He spoke first.

"Fine I guess." I said.

The conversation died out. I heard action coming all around. I was itching to help but I had to stay. Then a group of Ares kids came out of no where. Percy fought them while I got hit by one of them. I finally got my courage and fought with Percy. We mage to get them. Then was chees coming all around. I guess our team won. Then this big popping sound came out of no where. It was a giant hell hound. It was after Percy. He fought it. I could tell he was scared. But he still managed to beat it.
Everyone went to their cabins frightened. We fell asleep in silence. No one wanted to talk about it. I was excited to go to my new family tomorrow.
