The Children of Olympus: The Final Prophecy

“We will give you directions to anywhere you may need to go, and I pledge the gods and goddess’ allegiance if need be. First you must go and get the spirits together, and that won’t be easy. Here are some directions.” Zeus handed down a slip of paper that gradually got smaller until it was the size of a post-it. It had coordinates on it.
“Why the hell would you send them there?” Athena asked with anger. Zeus raised a hand.
“They will need the help.” He said. He then motioned us out.

Charles, Sam, and I walked back to the elevator. Charles took a deep breath and stepped in. The elevator flew down, and Charles held on for dear life. Once they hit floor 100, it slowed down and Charles couldn’t hold it. He had nothing left in his stomach, so he just dry heaved some spit onto the floor. I felt so bad for him. Once we got off, I offered to go eat and everyone agreed. It was now 9 pm, but we were hungry. Even Charles wanted food.
We stopped at a café near a river.
“What are we supposed to do with these coordinates?” Sam asked after we all sat down with a McDonald’s sandwich. Charles was inhaling his food. He stopped with a mouthful of fries.
“I may be of assistance.” He mumbled. Sam and I cocked our heads. He nodded. “I can read coordinates. Kind of a sea thing.” He explained, now full of cheeseburger.
“Okay then. We should probably get going.” I said.
“Wait, are we going on a boat?” Sam asked with panic. Charles nodded.
“Probably.” He said. “Is that a problem?” he asked. She nodded. She started sweating.
“I don’t do so well with boats.” She said. Charles laughed. Sam turned red. A small gold nugget popped up next to Charles’ chair.
“Okay, we aren’t doing this again. Let’s go.” I said. All three of us got up and walked out.
