I wake up expecting to see Aiden lying next to me but when I reach over I just touch the cold rocky ground and empty air.

"Aiden? Aiden!" but nothing no response except for Claira grunting, notifying me to shut up.

Where is he? Where did he go? Outside? No that would be stupid, but what if SHE took him.

"Claira! Claira! Wake up!" suddenly the ground gets hot and I know I got to her.

"What!"

"Aiden, the boy he's gone, I- I think SHE took him," and suddenly I feel a tear fall from my face and then I'm on the ground crying.

"Where is Sybil?" she asks, her tone softening.

"She went out to get some food, she said she would be back in a couple of hours,"

"Ok, maybe he needed some air and he went for a walk and encountered her," I can hear the doubt and the pity in her voice.

"You know I'm right, I'm always right about this, Sybil didn't encounter him, SHE took him and I know your just trying to be a friend right now but now I just need you, the real you, because now we need to kick that b*tch of a siren's @$$!"

"Hey, calm down, lets actually make a plan here," she says sneaking a smile across her face, just then the cave is open and Sybil enters.

"I got some food, fruit, vegetables, herbs, and MEAT," as she says that she tosses the boar to Claira.

I tell her what happened as we eat the meat Claira cooked with the herbs and the fruit.

"She's moving faster with her plan than I thought," she mutters.

" What plan? Did you talk to her?"

"No but Mother talked to The Dark One,"

After breakfast we go outside and gather wood rocks and vines to make weapons. When we all filled our baskets with supplies we go inside, I work on connecting the weapons, Sybil weaves and Claira sharpens stones and makes daggers and what not.

Sybil makes a poison from leftover herbs that is lethal to sirens and dips all the weapons in the poison.

"I guess this will do," Claira says and with that Aiden enters the cave.
