Claira's POV

"Wait, do mean that, we are the bonded ones, cursed forever to live in two different lives, feeling two feelings?" I asked horrified by the thought, how could this happen to me, why me.

"Exactly, I'm Sybil by the way," the girl said.

"I'm Claira, daughter of Theros and you must be daughter of Nyx judging by the state of your hair turning red." I said motioning to her hair that was literally turing red.

She screamed then fainted which resulted with me fainting too, man I hated this.

When I woke up there was fire on the cavern floor, great I thought, my danger instincts kicked in at the worst time again, then I remembered about Sybil and with a wave of my hand all of the fire and smoke disappeared into thin air.

I coughed and coughed even more, it was weird why should we still be coughing if the fire was gone, then I felt like I was being choked, the beast was at her throat.

I couldn't believe my eyes, the beast of the night really was Queen Calypso but she really wasn't herself, she had claws and demon eyes, she reminded me of my asshole of a father, he was practically the demon king of the underworld and the most feared titan on Earth.

I got Calypso off of her with a fire whip, now I could finally breathe.


"Thanks, well its not like you really had a choice you dont save me we both die but still, thanks, it was my fault I was trying to get home before the sun came up." she said.

"You what?! She could've killed us both! Bounded by the bond or not, I thought you would be smarter than that!" I yelled.

She ran out of the cave crying, guess she can't handle a little criticism.

Before I knew it the sun came up and Calypso was returned to her formal self.

"Before you think about making a move, tell me, who did this to you?" I asked.

"Didn't he tell you, your father did this to me, as revenge for your mother's death."
