Claira's POV

We awoke in a cave, not knowing how or when we got here, we ventured outside to return to our village. When we exited the cave we saw the villagers' corpses, I saw what really happened to my mother that day, but I pushed her death far from my mind, nobody deserved this type of death, nobody but Adriana.

A few years ago there was word that Naunet had risen and got enough strength to bear a daughter, her secret weapon. When word got out villagers began staying inside their homes during the night, no more celebration, we were trapped.

Then our queen, Thymus, a beautiful sea nymph who was free and selfless and brave, she gave us light, she gave us hope, no more hiding when the darkness comes, be free from fear, for that is the only thing that would kill us, and now we hid in the shadows and she was right, our freedom, our peace is now gone.

Years Later...

Heroes started coming right after one left, the three of us agreed never to fall in love with one of them but soon we learned that Nisha could never be trusted.

She met him on the beach and took care of him, I thought he was the Monster when I spread fire around him then I realized who he was, they kissed when darkness came over the island, and now we live in fear again from Adriana and her mother Naunet....
