The Augur and Me

Shit. Shit shit shit shit shit. I shouldn't have been freaking out that much, but I really was. I grabbed my shirt, lifted it over my head, and ran like hell. I ran to my bunk and hid under my blankets. Ugh.
I'm not sure how long I stayed there, I just knew it was a long time.
At some point here the end of the day, Hazel came in.
"Umm... Violet...?"
I groaned.
"It's Jason..." needless to say, that got my attention.
"What about him...?" I cautiously asked whilst sitting up.
"He's...he's gone..."
No. No, no, no... he couldn't be gone... No!
Where could he have gone? Was there an explanation? Would I ever see him again? Was I in deep shit with Reyna? Was I obsessing???? Why didn't he tell me? Did remember me?
Another question in the back of my mind: Was he my best friend, or something more?
I had no idea what to do, so I just sat there staring at a wall. I knew something bad had to happen. That's what I get for falling for him, I guess.
