The new Goddess

I thought everything was going fine until we entered a new way. There was red light in this way and I didn't like it.
'Is it suppose to be red?' I asked.
'I hope so.' Mathew said
I was looking around the whole time. Looking for something that could attack us.
Suddenly I fell into a hole in the ground. I was so surprised that I'd grabbed Mathews hand and accidentally pulled him with me. The hole was deep and we fell for a long time but I knew we had to slow down, otherwise we wouldn't survive it. I looked around. And then I got an idea.
'Take of your shirt.' I said.
'What?!'
'Just do it!' We can use it as a parachute.'
'Why don't we use your shirt?'
'Not funny. Now hurry!'
He pulled of his shirt and I tried to make a sort of parachute. It wasn't great but it helped a little.
I looked above us. I could barely see the red light. How long were we falling? And how deep was this hole?
'You also have to take of you're shirt.' Mathew said.
'What?! No way!'
'Its just like you're in your bikini and would you rather die?'
I sighed and took my shirt of. I was really happy it was dark in the hole but it was still awkward. He held me around my waste while I made from our shirts a parachute. This helped more. We slowed down bit by bit and after a time that felt like hours we finally reached the bottom. Mathew let me go and I tried to get our shirts back to normal as fast as I could. This was so awkward.
I gave him his shirt back and put mine on.
'So... What now?' I asked.
'I don't know... Look around or something?'
We both didn't dare to talk about the parachute thing. So we tried to talk about other things, but there weren't a lot subjects to talk about.
'Are you feeling okay?' He asked.
'Yeah why?'
'Well when you grabbed my hand... It felt really cold.'
'Why is everyone saying that? It's just my normal temperature.'
'Well okay... I'm glad there's nothing bad then. But it's still strange your skin feels so cold.'
'Okay okay when we get out of here I'll do some research.'
I looked around but there where no ways out.
'We're trapped.' Mathew said.
No, this could not be happening. This was definitely not how I wanted to die.
'There has to be a way out! Maybe there's a secret door or something. We have to keep looking!'
'Hey don't panic. It's going to be okay, I promise.'
'You can't make a promise like that.' I said remembering my last conversation with Finn. 'I speak from experience.'
