The new Goddess

'Callum! I'm so happy you're normal again!' Abby said giving him a hug.
'Yeah... Me too!' He answered still a little blushing from his short kiss with Tess.
'Good to see you normal again.' I smiled. I looked at Tess, she was already packing our stuff.
Did we really have to leave this beautiful place? What if we got lost? If we stayed here we would definitely stay alive.
'Tess can I help you with something?' Callum asked.
'No.'
'Did I do something wrong?' Callum asked us.
'I'll talk to her.' Abby said and she walked over to Tess.
I shrugged. 'I don't know dude. Girls are really complicated.'
Callum nodded. 'I hope she's not angry or something...'
'I think she's just worried.'
'About getting out of this cave?'
'Yeah and about Alex.'
'About Alex?'
'Oh wait. You don't know that yet. Well Tess had this dream that told her Alex is still alive.'
'Thats great! Why would she be worried?'
'She fell in a hole in the ground and Tess is not sure she'll ever come out of it.'
'Oh...'
'Guys? Can you come over here for a second?' Tess asked.
We walked over to her and she told us she wanted to go on. She told us we had to find our way out or Alex or, if we were really lucky, both.
'Get as much fruit and water as can fit in your backpack. Oh and remember not to look in the water.' Tess said.
'Thats gonna be fine.' Callum grinned.
'Yeah okay, well just get the food. The sooner we leave the better.'
In half an hour we were walking through the dark ways of the cave again.
'Are you sure this is going to lead us somewhere?' Abby asked.
'No I'm not sure, but if we walk into one direction we should finally find an exit right?'
'Yeah but how do you know where walking in the same direction?'
'I made a compass, I really hope it works.'
'You know how to make one?'
'Yeah something I learned in the third grade.'
We walked for a while in silence.
'Go talk to her.' I whispered to Callum.
'Why?'
'Why not?'
'She doesn't like me.'
'But she does care about you.'
'How do you know?'
'Otherwise she wouldn't have kissed you. She would just hurt your feelings.'
'Okay wish me luck.'
I smiled while Callum walked over to Tess.
I thought about a lot of things while we were walking. I made plans and thought about the things that could have happened to Alex but that didn't make me feel better.
Then I thought about Alex and Abby. Was it possible to have a girl as your best friend when you had a sort of girlfriend? I didn't know and was it important now? Not really.
'But Finn said you cared about me!' I heard Callum saying and he and Tess looked both at me now.
'You told him what?' She asked.
'Well it's sort of true right? I mean if you didn't care about him you hadn't kissed him. Otherwise you would just hurt his feelings.'
'I would never hurt the feelings of a friend. At least, I would try.'
Tess turned around and continued her way. Callum looked at the ground.
'Sorry man.' I said. 'I didn't know she would react like this.'
'Its not your fault, okay maybe a little, but it doesn't bother me.'
Suddenly Tess had stopped walking and I bumped into her.
'Why are you....' But when I looked around me I knew why she'd stopped. This way had blue light and looked like there'd been a huge fight.
'What is this place?' I asked although I knew no one of us could know.
