The new Goddess

'Well...' Abby said. 'That was... Ehm... Unexpected.'
Callum, Abby and I sat at a bench in one of the gardens on Olympus. Although it was beautiful and there were so many things to look at, I could only think about Alex, that stupid girl gave me a headache. It wasn't Alex fault of course, but it was really stupid. And why hadn't she told me about the memory thing? Didn't she trust me or something? And the idea of her having a cabin at CHB made me sick.
'We all knew Alex was different and more powerful so I wasn't that surprised when I heard it. The thing that got me in shock is that... That... That Tess died for nothing.... Of course I can't blame Alex for that but we could have know she was immortal. No one would had survived that fall in the hole she told us about. No one.' Callum said looking really sad. At least I still had the one I loved, Callum not.
'Hey,' Abby said, 'it will be alright. We are here for you okay? Alex probably feels ten times worse at the moment, cause she could've had saved Tess and Mathew. How would you feel if two friends sacrificed themselves for you and you found out you can't die? I think that's horrible.'
Callum nodded. 'You're right, she didn't like me back anyway.'
Abby sighed. 'Dude, don't try to make yourself feel bad! Common! It's not the end of the world! Did I give up when Finn didn't like me back? We're strong Callum! I know you can do it!'
Without wanting to this comment made me really feel uncomfortable.
Callum smiled a little. 'Yeah I almost forgot about that.'
'There are more important things at the moment then your love lives.' I said.
'You're going to tell me you were not thinking about you and Alex?' Abby asked raising one eyebrow.
'Ehm no.' I said as convincing as possible.
'Dont make me laugh.' Abby said. 'Everyone knows you can't think about something else.'
I started to blush now. 'Abby you're the worst friend ever!'
She laughed and then Alex stood suddenly in front of us. 'Whats so funny?' She asked.
'Well Finn thinks-' Abby started.
'Nothing!' I said. 'Nothing is funny! Abby is just an idiot, that's why she was laughing.'
'Yeah sure, whatever you want.' Abby said.
'Okay...' Alex said. 'Callum are you feeling okay?'
'Yeah sort of... Talking to these to idiots made it better.'
Alex looked a bit relieved. 'Thats great.'
Alex sat next to us on the bench.
'So what did they want to tell you?' Callum asked
'Oh nothing important. Just a little introducing to everything.'
I raised my eyebrows. 'They did? Surprising.'
'What why?' Alex asked.
'Oh nothing.' Although Alex didn't say it, I knew she wasn't telling everything the gods had told her.
I wanted to talk to Alex alone but Abby held her busy with all kind of stupid questions. Gladly enough Callum understood me.
'Common Abby, let's help those satyrs over there.' He said.
'Nah I'm lazy.' Abby answered. Callum punched her softly with his elbow and tried to make it clear without Alex seeing it.
'Ill go with you.' Alex said.
'No he asked me!' Abby said, she finally understood what Callum was doing. 'You stay here. Otherwise Finn is alone and he's scared of being alone.'
'Oh shut up.' I said. Abby grinned and she and Callum left.
'Okay that was weird.' Alex said.
I grinned. 'Yeah.. So ehm what's going to happen now?'
'Oh I don't know yet. Nothing special I think. They'll inform me later.'
'Oh great. So you can just live at CHB? And be with demigods and everything.'
'I think so.'
'So it's not that you can't have a good bond with a demigod? Like most gods don't have very good contact with the demigods and-'
'Finn, what kind of questions are this?'
She was really not getting the hint, wasn't she? Did she ever think about what was going to happen with "us"? I swear, Alex was the most unromantic person I'd ever met!
'Are you feeling okay?' She asked. 'You suddenly look so angry.'
'No of course I'm not okay! You're a goddess! You're getting your own cabin at CHB! You... You... What will happen to us?'
She frowned like she never thought of it before. 'I.. I don't know actually.'
'Great. You don't know. So we'll just see and after a few years you have your cabin full of your own demigod children? Oh great. Can't wait.'
'Okay one: that from the cabin has nothing to do with "us". Two: it's really weird to just say something like that. And three: I don't even know if I get a cabin and even if I would, it would be pretty useless.'
'What why?'
'They made me a teen goddess.'
'A what?'
'I can't get older then eighteen and not younger then twelve.'
'Thats great!' I said without thinking.
'No it's not. That means I can't stay the same age as my friends.'
And then my whole world broke. 'But there has to be a way...' I said.
'Find one and I'll be really graceful.'
'So what now?'
'Go back to CHB?'
'Youre allowed to go with us?'
'I think so, and otherwise I'll hear it right?'
I looked at her and leaned a bit forward to give her a kiss but she jumped from the bench.
'Common Finnie!'
'Finnie? What kind of name is Finnie?!'
'It doesn't matter, let's find the others.'
Without waiting she sprinted away.
'Hey! Wait for me!' I yelled. 'And don't call me Finnie anymore! It's stupid!'
I heard Alex laughing and sprinted after her.
