The Next Day...
Briiinngg!! The lunch bell rings and 3rd period is over. Relived, I put my science textbooks back into my backpack and heads towards the cafeteria for lunch. When I get there, my BFF, Melissa is already eating her PB&J sandwich.
"Hey, what's up, you look depressed."
"Umm...well, last night I heard my parents talking about how I'm not going to make it and about a camp and how I'm in danger and how I'm not going to Camp and god, my life is so messed up right now!"
"and you don't know even half of it"
"Huh?"
"Never mind, Joy, but umm..I have to uh go to the bathroom and uh...bye!"
I was wondering what was bothering her when I noticed that she was already out of the cafeteria.
Strange. So I follow her into the bathroom and hides in the shadows. Melissa is standing in front of a rainbow and she is talking to it. I lean in for a closer look but I still can not see it clearly. Since I want to avoid being seen, I can only hear snatches of her conversation. "She has found out...so soon...but the war...prophecy...grave danger...Titans...bring her...camp...not going." Then she swipes the rainbow and it dissolves.
