Dear Diary,

Wow, this really is stupid. I'm the only (present) praetor of New Rome, and I'm writing in a diary. Better than staying up and worrying about Jason, but still! (Also better than Gwen making me watch My Little Pony again. Yuck!)

I hope Jason gets back time for the Feast of Fortune so Octavian doesn't get the job as praetor! He's a jerk, he really gets on my nerve, I just... Gods!!! I wish he would just leave camp, sometimes!!!

I'm getting tired now... Good night. Wait, why am I acting like this book is a person or something? Ah well...
