The Rise Of The Titans Series: The Lightning Boy (book II)

"Hey!" Annabeth shouted, she shot out of the bed and glared at Leo.
"Sorry!" Leo yelled.

"You don't have to yell!" Annabeth snapped, "What is it?".

Leo grinned, "The quest! I can't wait to be in pain!"

"Shut up, Leo,"

"Come on, are you ready yet? Percy's on Small Argo already." Leo complained.

"Small argo?" Annabeth asked.

"Our favorite car! come on!" Leo said, he sprinted out of the cabin.

Annabeth stretch and got up sullenly and looked in the mirror. Her hair was a bird's nest.
Annabeth rolled her eyes, like if she cared. Pulling on her camp Half-blood T-shirt and jeans she opened the cabin door. The campers surrounded small argo and Leo and the rest of the crew stood there.

Annabeth couldn't help being embarrassed when Leo saw her and said, "She's here, finally!"

Some of the campers snickered. Annabeth and the rest of the crew climbed into Small Argo.

"Good luck!" Chiron called. Annabeth caught a glimpse of Mr. D yawning and rolling his eyes lazily. He held up a can of soda and drank it in one gulp.

Percy pulled himself into the driver's seat with Leo next to him.

Frank sat next to Annabeth and Piper in the middle seats. Nico and Echo sat on the back row.

"We have a big problem," Piper said. Everyone stared at her.

"Yeah, we actually do," Annabeth realized. "Man, I didn't know that," Leo said sarcastically.

"Jason's possesed, Hazel's dead, and Echo and Nico are here, can it possibly be that Jason and Hazel not being in the seven?"

"yes," Piper agreed, "But at least we know that Jason's not dead," she said in a trembling voice. Annabeth knew she wasn't sure.

"Hey Percy, are you heading west?" Leo asked.

"Yeah," Percy said.

"Hmmm..." Leo murmured, wiggling his fingers at the control buttons. "I'm wondering..."

He clicked on several os the buttons. "Leo!" Piper yelped.

The car started shaking unevenly and light exploded to on the front window. The view of grass and sky disappeared and it turned into fast light- speed.

"Leo! What - did-you-DO!" Percy shouted over the high-wind noises.

"Nothing!"

"You did!" Piper yelled.

And then the car exploded into blinding light.
