Time's Daughter

Complications

Athaliah had fallen silent. Recently, she'd been speaking to me quite often always offering advice, or giving me a random, yet helpful, fact. But when the gods announced they had no idea who was after me, Athaliah grew quiet.
The gods had done a through search. Checking out titans, giants, even other gods from around the world, but they had turned up empty.
I began to wonder if Athaliah was the only one of her kind. If she was the personification of time, maybe there were personifications of other beings. I asked her, but again she didn't answer.
So I tried some research myself. But turned up a bit more than empty handed:

I was reading again when Nico came back from the hospital after his night shift. "Have you found anything yet?"
I sighed. "A headache and a shadow is all I've managed." I rubbed my temples.
He smiled. "Then it's time for to take a break." He pulled me to my feet and started to pull me out of the library. He didn't get very far.
the room spun around me and I slumped back into my hair, holding my stomach. All of a sudden, I felt like I wanted to puke.
Nico bent down to my level, pressing his hand to my forehead. "Are you alright?" he asked worriedly.
I nodded. "It just a little stomach ache."
His eyebrows scrunched up, like they did when he was thinking. "Have you eaten any breakfast today?" he questioned.
I shook my head. "It did taste right for some reason."
He seemed to have reached a conclusion but did want to tell me about it. "Im taking you to our room," he said. "Then I'm going to go get some who will know for sure."
"Know what for sure?" I asked. He didn't answer. "You're as bad as Athaliah ," I mumbled.

I laid on the bed impatiently waiting for Nico to come back. My stomach wasn't happy. I swirmed, unhappily, trying my hardest to not get sick.
Athaliah decided to speak to me. "Be careful of Black holes." She said cryptically.
"Yeah, that's helpful." I muttered as Nico walking with Artemis of all people.
"What's she doing here?" I mumbled uncomfortably.
Arthemis looked about as happy as I did. "I am the goddess of childbirth," she grumbled. "Your boyfriend wanted a second opinion."
My eyes widened. "I'm not--"
The young goddess smiled. "You are." Then vanished.
My jaw dropped. I stared at Nico who was smiling like an idiot. "Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, slightly annoyed but also ridiculously happy.
He didn't answer. I walked over and picked me up like I was a child, spinning me in his arms. "I hope she'll be just like you," he laughed.
"Hey it could be a boy you know!" I scolded him, also laughing, as we fell on the bed.
He rubbed my stomach happily. "I don't care what it is, as long as it ours."
I smiled. "Of course it's ours, stupid!"
