Under the Rain

Annabeth´s POV
Percy took me to a walk at New Rome´s park, the day was really sunny, so none of us suspected that it would rain later:

Everything was Ok, that dare was one of the first dates we took since we defeat Gaea, so I was going to enjoy every single minute.

“Are you enjoying this, because I am” he told me

“Definitely” I reply, feeling really happy at the moment.

“Let’s get some ice-cream, ok?”

“Su-“I was interrupted by a thunderstorm, the next thing I knew was that it was raining really hard “we should get back”

“Is Annabeth Chase afraid to get wet?” He tease me.

“NO WAY” I reply defensively “Beside I will get soaking wet and you will stay dry. Which is NOT. FAIR!”

“Come on, Wise Girl, It will be fun! ANs I promise allow myself to get wet” he said, using his best puppy-eyes.

“I´m not sure, Per-“ I started, but he grab my hand and pull us to the middle of the park getting us soaking wet! “Percy! We are WET because of YOU!!”

I start chasing him around the park while he was screaming things like “You are SO not going to catch me!” or “Is that all you have, Wise Girl?!” We continue like that for a couple of more minutes, before he slipped and fall to the ground. I stared laughing my ass out, and he only stood there pouting like a little child.

“Hey stop laughing about me, that’s really rude!”

“Don´t get mad at me Percy, it´s just so funny” I try to justify myself. Suddenly he made something I didn´t expected. He crash his lips on mines, and gave me a sweet, passionate and loving kiss, which I return gladly.

“What was that for?” I ask once we break apart.

“It was for you to stop laughing about me”

“Well it did work”

“I know” he said, sending me a wink and a smirk “Are you ready to go”

“Yeah” I said, lacing our fingers.

When we turn around we saw all of our friends looking at us from the coffee shop that was across the street. They were all grinning, and I couldn´t help but blush really hard. I think my face mirrors Percy which was red as a tomato.

”I think we better get going” He propose.

“Yeah, me too”

And that’s how I had one of the best dates of my life...Under the Rain.
