Mystery Girl Again
Introductions
Okay, I'm going to lie, buses are the shittest mode of transport, especially if you're a demigod, or reall, if you're just me. Truth #2: my name is-
"Arcanum Seria Confortare?" someone says loudly and obnoxiously after the teacher reads my name off the roll, they continue, "What kind of name is that?"
I try to decide whether or not I want to be confronational. Will I be quiet and not give a shit, or will I stand for myself. Not caring was ussually the easier - and smarter - way to go. I peeked over my shoulder to catch a glimpse of the speaker.
Oh no. It was Malibu barbie from hell. At this point I couldn't really be held responsible for my actions. I turn right around in my seat to face Malibu barbie.
"You got something you want to say me barbie?" I said leveling her with a blazing glare.
Malibu Barbie gave me a quick look up and down and smirked, "I'm curious, do you have a mirror at your place? Cause, uh, you got a little something, like, everywhere."
Barbie's posse laughed and someone said, "Oooh, buuurrrnn!"
"Oh my god, it's finally happened." I replied in an awestruck voice.
Barbie just raised an eyebrow, "What, someone plucked up the courage to tell you what an ugly bitch you are?"
"No, barbie, you just finally grew a brain."
A couple of her friends stifled laughs behind their hands.
"Wow, that just makes you obsolete now, doesn't it?" Barbie said with an egotistical flip of her hair, "I'm beautiful and smart!"
"I'm not gonna contest you intelligence barbie, but if you're beautiful - then what the hell happened to our standards?"
Even barbie has to smile this time. She hid her laugh behind one perfectly manicured hand.
"Okay, I have to say you got me there, I'm Nathalia."
"Well you already know my name, barbie."
"Sorry, but I have to know though, what's up with the name?" She inquired
"I honestly don't know what my parents were thinking. I never really do."
"You should ask them," she said with a smile.
"I would, but they're dead."
Buses are infact the shittest mode of transport; especially if you're a demigod like me.Let me know in the comments below what you think and whether or not you want to hear more from a silver-tongued hero.
