The Seven looked too scared to form words.
"Continuing!" I yelled, just like a teacher.
I took one bracelet off my arm. It read "Jasper."
"Jasper," I said. "Anyone know what this means?"
No one answered.
"Really? No one?" Wow, this is gonna be a while.
Silence.
"Jasper. Jason-Piper. It's called a ship name. Get it?" I said.
Jason and Piper blushed.
"Perabeth." I said, pulling off another braccelet. "Percy-Annabeth."
I didn't wait for a response. Instead, I pulled off my last bracelet.
"Valdangelo. Nico-Leo," I said. "Sorry, Nico."
Leo made a face and said, "Not my type."
Nico turned a dark shade of red.
This went on for hours. Frazel. Percico (Nico turned even more red). Caleo. Many, many, more.
Suddenly, a bright flash of light revealed Octavian standing on the table. He charged at Nico.
Faster than lightning, I jumped in front of him, blocked his strike, and had my dagger under his chin.
"Try it, Octavian." I growled.
He tried desperately to escape, but I only pushed the flat of my blade harder against his jaw.
"Don't. You. Dare." I whispered.
Nico came up behind him and hit the back of Octavian's head with the hilt of his sword.
"Sorry, teddy-bear man." Nico said.
Octavian crumpled to the floor. Nico and I casually fist-bumped, like we had won a video game instead of knocking out a teddy bear murderer. Ii look at my wrist and realize my Jasper bracelet is gone. Damn. Just then, my dagger morphed into a pink leather bracelet. My bracelet. It automatically clasped around my wrist.
"Okay, that is cool." I said.
"I HAVE WANTED TO DO THAT TO OCTAVIAN FOR THE LONGEST TIME!!!" Hazel cheered.
"Trust me, I have, too," I said.
Everyone looked confused.
"Book series." I remind them.
"Ohhh," they all say in unison.
"Yeah." I said.
Nico just looked surprised. "How did you do that?"
"Do what??"
"Getting to Octavian so fast," he said.
"I don't know," I say. "Must be the whole daughter-of-Athena thing."
I have a magic item, though!! I think. Oh my gods yay!! :D
I rubbed my Percabeth bracelet, wondering if the other two were magical as well. Sure enough, "Percabeth" became a golden bow, and "Valdangelo" became a quiver filled with exploding, flaming, poisonous, and regular arrows.
"Ohmygodsohmygods this is so cool!!!!" I yell, letting my inner fanngirl out.
I rubbed the bow and arrows, and they morphed back into my lether bracelets. I love this world so much! :D :D :D

The next day, I woke up at 4 AM to the sound of a thump in the infirmary and a groan. That voice...
"Nico!" I yelled
I knew it was a mistake to put that Octavian in the infirmary. That damn augur has probably already gotten half the ship by now. I run to the infirmary.
The sight I was greeted with was not pretty. There was Octavian, sitting on his sickbay bed, a smug look on his face. Nico and Hazel were on the floor, Hazel's lip cut. Both were unconscious.
"What did you do?!" I growled.
He only smirked. I conjured up my bow and arrows and aimed straight at his heart.
"I'm gonna ask you again. What. The fuck. Did you do?!" I yelled.
"You would never shoot me." Octavian said.
"Then you apparently don't know me." I said, my words venomous.
"Ha! Really? Athena's only tool is words. Try me." Octavian smirked.
My eyes flashed golden.
"What did you say, puny mortal?" I hear a voice say.
I then realize the voice was mine. But not mine. It was like another life force was speaking through me. Athena.
"Y-youre joshing me." Octavian's voice faltered.
"Oh, no I'm not, Roman." Athena said, putting emphasis on the word Roman. "I could destroy you with a flick of my hand, you know. You don't wanna anger a goddess."
Fear flickered iin Octavian's eyes. Nico rose behind him and slammed the hilt of his sword into his head for the second time.
Both Octavian and I crumpled to the floor.
