Wait, What?

Nico sat in the infirmary for the second time this week.

"I told you," I said. "I said you wouldn't be safe doing that."

"But... I... did...it," he said, taking a deep breath in between each word.

"I know you did it, just..." My voice trailed off.

"Just what?" He asked. His voice was finally getting better.

"Ugh. Nevermind," I said.

"I think I'm good enough to leave. Wanna take a walk or something?" He asked.

"A walk. Around a warship," I say.

He nodded. I agree and help him off his cot. I expect him to stumble or something, but he stands tall. We walk slowly over to the infirmary. Neither of us said anything, but it didn't feel awkward. We sat down on the glass bay doors and just relax, enjoying each other's presence.

"I missed you," I said.

"I missed you too." Nico put one arm around me.

I pull something out of my bag.

"I was saving this for when you woke up," I said, holding up a huge bag of Snickers and Twix.

Nico laughs. "Really?"

"Yeah. And we're sharing this time," I say, laughing as well.

I open the bag and the chocolates explode outwards. It feels like it's raining chocolate.

"Well, I guess that's what I get when I order from Connor and Travis." I say.

Nico grabs a Twix out of the air and eats it whole. We crack up. Suddenly, we go quiet. The sound of footsteps behind us fills the room. We turn around and see a girl who looks just like Nico, only younger. Or could she be older? I see a tear drop from Nico's face.

"Hello, brother," she says.
