The Last One

I yelp and my shadows dissipate, allowing Leo to get up.
"What was that for?" he asks, angry. I back up.
"I-I didn't know you could...." I stutter, eyes wide. He stands up, putting out the flames and dusting off his pants.
"Didn't know what? That I could light myself on fire?"
I stayed silent. 'Exactly.' I thought to myself. 'He must be strong.'
I smirk. "You wanna fight me?"
"Yep. Let's go."
He summoned a raging flame and I conjoured my shadows, which took the form of a sword. I laugh, and the darkness writhes, causing Leo to back up. "I haven't let my full power out in a long time," I say.
"Are we just going to stand here or what?" he asks, a glimmer of fear in his eyes.
I ignored it.
I dashed forward, jabbing with my sword in a roman move that I had learned from my mother. Leo barely dodged, the sword slicing his hair.
He grimaced and threw a fireball at me, which missed me by mere inches.
Then I hear it; someone was laughing. Both of us stop and listen closer, trying to figure out who it was.
And in a flash of light, Ares stood before us. I squealed and hid behind a tree, while Leo freaked out.
Ares looked like a ripped, beat up biker. It was even worse because he brought Deimos with him. The jerk.
He laughed and congratulated us on our fight, then disappeared. Deimos didn't follow. So....
Me and Leo teamed up and beat the s*** out of him to get back at Ares. Deimos went back to Olympus quite battered, while me and Leo had cokes.
Eventually we both fell asleep, sugar-drunk and happy.
Well, until the next morning.
