Chapter Four:
POV GAIUS


Yes, Nico Di Angelo, Son of Hades, came earlier this morning and as such, the preactors wanted the cohort leaders and their first officers to help welcome with him. I personally distrust the kid, since he kept the Greeks existence from us and them of us, in which we probably could have become allies stead of this crap that Octavian put us through. I certainly don’t blame him for everything that has happened but I hold him responsible for somethings that did go down.


Eliza and I walked up the hill to the main hall, I look over at her and I know what’s she’s thinking about.
“That bad huh?” I ask.
She looks over at me for second, “It’s gotten worse.” She says, “they, seem more real as the days pass.” She looks away and flinches shifting her shoulders to the left, “I still feel the fire on my skin from last night’s dream.”
I want to help her but it is out of my power and I have sought help for her on her behalf as much as Roman can, “You’ll make it.” I say with a slight grin.
She ran her fingers through her hair, “I’m not really sure how much I can take anymore.”
I am about to say something but we happen on the main doors and I opens the door for her, She nods for a thank you and walks in. I walk in after her and follow Eliza down into the left hall where we meet if its not war.


Eliza keeps her silencing pace just ahead of me as she walks down the hall. I watch as she walks down the hall and I take note of of Eliza hunching over, probably from her lack of sleep, but I know her better. Eliza opens the next door and just hanging around the rectangle table in the center of the room with Reyna, Frank and the others and in the center of attention and was an uncomfortable Nico DI Angelo.


I try to not to stiffen up and control my breathing for attack.
