As soon as I got to my...place of residence, you could say, I immediately noted how empty it was. Just like every day. As you can probably see, I'm just that kind of person who lives alone. And the strangest thing ever is the fact that I know pretty much nothing about myself.
Basically, all I know is:
I'm a boy
My name is Magnus Chase
I'm fifteen
I have a cousin named Annabeth Chase who never seems to be around
I have no immediate family
For a living I'm forced to steal and sell
Everything is just one large question.
A shadow passed over my face for a second as I thought about this. Then, I smiled as I logged onto my eBay account.

Then after I entered the password I created an auction for the gold watch. I was fairly certain that it was a knockoff, but I wrote in $5,000 for the starting amount anyways.
Yep, that pretty much described my life.
